Synod of Bishops for October 2014. The theme is “Pastoral challenges
of the family in the context of evangelization.” Parish communities are

hosting an opportunity for your input on Thursday, January 16, 2014
beginning at 7:00 pm in the parish centre. All are welcome to attend.

Fire and safety prevention at st. Michael’s -Help Us Keep Fire
Doors Closed - Fire doors are found between stairwells and corridors.
They are installed to contain fire and smoke from spreading through-
out the church or parish centre. We are asking everyone that sees a
door blocked open to close it please.
Parish News Continued Parking around the church
First person to arrive—please start parking diagonally
on the west side roadway (rectory drive way to the old
vault). The snow is now piled-up and is very narrow for vehi-
cles to pass through. It is the hope that this will solve that
problem and may even create a few extra parking spots.
Also please note if you are parking on the east side, room
must be left for vehicles trying to park in the handicapped
spots. Do not block this parking area.
Regional News Holy Hour for Life will be held every Friday at 3 pm at St. Samuel’s Church in Douglastown.
