St Mary the Virgin, Bathwick – Smallcombe Cemetery – Memorial Inscriptions Bathwick LHS

Section K The section is at the eastern end of the cemetery. It contains 222 graves and 175 memorials. While there are a couple of graves which date from 1915 and 1930, the section was mainly used from 1953. The memorials are mostly either low headstones or kerbstones. At the eastern end is a wire fence the other side of which is part of Smallcombe Wood. Parts of the upper part of the section are shadowed by trees with twigs and other debris falling onto the graves. A grass path runs up the hill between rows Y and H1. Row 48 is an east-west path which continues the path in Sections H and F and leads to the chapel. For row V at the western extent, half of the row is deemed to be in Section K and half in Section H.
