Faith Formation “Faith Formation” is more than an activity or a class or an obligation that must be fulfilled in
order to receive the sacraments. The ultimate goal is live our lives in communion with God
with the joy of the Gospel to guide us. When we gather together, we strive to share the love and teachings of Christ and by doing so, we
nourish and grow our faith, love and joy with others.
Registration: Please register your students in grades K-12 annually so that our information is current and we can communicate! There will
be a table at the ice cream social September 8 with registration forms for an opportunity to
meet real people involved in the organization and leading of faith formation. The coffee and rolls Sunday (Sept. 22) will be another oppor-
tunity for personal contact. Otherwise, the reg-istration form will be online soon.
Grades K-8: Our first gathering of this school year will be Sunday Oct. 6, 9 a.m. in the parish hall.
Confirmation Class of 2020: Our first gath-ering will be Wednesday Oct. 9.
Juniors and Seniors: First Gathering, Wednesday, Oct. 9. Adult: (young and old) Sunday Studies are at
9 a.m. in the religious education office in the parish hall. We study and reflect on the lection-
ary Scripture of the day and liturgical seasons of the church.
Blessing of Students and Teachers at 10 a.m. Mass August 25: Public, private, home school
students, educators, and associates are invited to receive this special blessing during Mass.
“4th Wednesday Sing” – August 28, 7:10 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the Church. Join us in prayerful
singing or sit and listen prayerfully as we explore new music and some new arrangements of more
traditional sacred music. Singers in high school and/or eighth grade and adults of all ages are wel-
come. Some of us come for the 6:30 p.m. Mass and stay to sing. Contact Mary Barnum or a
songleader if you have questions. You have been hearing at Mass some of the beautiful new sa-
cred music we explore at this monthly “sing”.
