Need Prayer? In the vestibule of church is a Prayer Request Notebook where anyone, at any time,
can write prayer concerns. The Members of the Prayer and Praise Ministry commit
to praying daily for these intentions. For more urgent prayer needs (illness,
surgery, etc.) there is a Prayer Chain that will get dozens of people praying
immediately. To begin the Prayer Chain, please call: Janice Werner 932-9200 or
Erma Hartman, 934-3678.
Ministry of Prayer and Praise Intentions for May For Pope Francis, that he may be given a spirit of courage and right judgment,
of knowledge and love so that he may build the Church into a sacrament of
unity, love, and peace for all the world.
For blessings on all mothers, that they may see Mary as their model and
sanctify Christ as Lord in their hearts and homes.
For our seminarians, that they may be guided by the Holy Spirit in their
preparation for the priesthood.
That God will bless all those who risk their lives to protect our freedom and
reward all those who served in the armed forces.
For those who have grown lukewarm in their faith, that the Holy Spirit will drive
out their indifference and rekindle their desire of heaven.
St. Louis Parish
Marian Year Prayer
Loving Mother of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Savior
of the World, we your children, the members of St.
Louis Parish, come before you seeking your
intercession as we honor you this year and as we
prepare to consecrate our parish to you and your
motherly care.
We ask you to intercede with God our Almighty
Father to look upon us with mercy and to forgive
our many sins against Him and our neighbors.
We ask you to intercede with your Most Holy Son to
fill us with a spirit of repentance and reconciliation
so that we may be ready to consecrate our parish
to you in purity of spirit.
We ask you to intercede with the Holy Spirit of God
to purify and sanctify us as He purified and
sanctified you throughout your
entire life on earth from your holy
and immaculate conception
through your most glorious
assumption into heaven.
Finally, Most Holy Mother of God,
we ask for your motherly love and
care in our lives and in our parish,
that we may consecrate ourselves
to you. Amen.

An Act of Spiritual
Communion
My Jesus, I believe that You are
present in the Most Holy
Sacrament. I love You above all
things, and I desire to receive
You into my soul. Since I cannot
at this moment receive You
sacramentally, come at least
spiritually into my heart.
I embrace You as if You were
already there and unite myself
wholly to You. Never permit me
to be separated from You.
Amen.
