WELCOME TO ST. JOSEPH’S

Our school founded by The Sisters of Mercy is stunningly located on the edge of the Atlantic ocean and has a proud tradition of education going back to 1929. Firmly rooted and guided by the Mercy ethos of our founders. The school now under the Patronage of CEIST continues to provide a broad curriculum and high quality teaching in an environment of warmth, caring and friendship, which is further enhanced by our engagement with the Droichead Programme.

St. Joseph’s has adapted to meet the changing societal and economic needs of the community over the years. In addition to mainstream second level education, it offers unparalleled choice to adults through night classes and QQI Back to Education programmes.

We are also proud of the on-going building developments that have greatly enhanced our school and continue to find new ways of accommodating and inspiring our students in a modern and unique educational environment.

As Principal of St. Joseph’s, it is my particular privilege to welcome you to our open day at the school and invite you to become part of our vibrant school community.

Mary Crawford Principal
