nance on the go, available 24/7, ready when you

visitor, you can always stay connected!

The Rosary is recited every Tuesday before the 5:15 pm
Mass. The Rosary is prayed for the Church, our country, and
any private intentions one might have. Everyone is welcome to
join us.
Catholic Services Appeal
Thank you to those who have filled out a Catholic Services Ap-
peal (CSA) envelope. For those who did not yet fill one out,
please do so soon. No gift is too small and our parish is trying
to reach 100% participation. This year our goal is $61,699.
For those of you who did not receive an envelope in the mail,
they are available in the pews or at the entrances to the
church. You may also give online to the Catholic Services Ap-
peal. Online giving provides donors with a secure and easy
way to make a gift to the CSA. Go to www.catholicdos.org and
click on “Give Online Today.” St. Joseph will automatically be
credited with your gift. The Church serves each of us in some
way and our financial support is needed to continue God’s
work in our area.
Thinking Cremation?
Find your Niche in Life. St. Joseph Columbarium folders are
available in the church office.

tion in the upcoming weeks. The book club is scheduled to

Coming Events
Chequamegon Fat Tire Fest is fast approaching. This year it
will be on September 14th. Every year our parish steps up
and takes care of one of the food stations. Thank you Kent
and Kathy Lage for not abandoning the project! It is always
a lot of work, but also a lot of fun and is usually followed by
Kathy’s delicious chili. The sign-up sheet is in the back of
church.
It’s time to think about your child’s religious education. We
will be offering classes in our parish. To sign up your child or
if you have any questions, please call our office.
The Altar Society will meet on September 16 in the
Community Hall at noon. Please bring your lunch.
CSA funding makes it possible to continue promoting
vocations to the priesthood that are so vital to the future of
our local Church. The indispensible role that our
seminarians will perform in the life of the church
necessitates that they receive an unparalleled formation in
the spiritual, pastoral, and academic disciplines. With the
high cost of education, your gift will help underwrite this
worthwhile investment and help promote and foster
vocations to the priesthood throughout our diocese. We are
slowly but surely moving toward our goal; so far we’ve raised
$10,190, with $4,483 still left. St. Ann Parish is very
grateful for your generosity. If you didn’t fill out your
envelope, please consider doing so. No gift is too small and
every dollar will help us get closer to our goal and reduce the
amount our parish will be responsible for.
It has been brought to our attention that our grounds are in
desperate need of TLC and first of all weeding. We apologize
for that. Our regular weeders were busy over the summer. If
you would like to help out, please call the office or stop by
any time.
Please remember in prayer: Jim Bartz, Jane Benson, Deb Krauss,
Melita Paulik, Melanie Szymkowiak, Carol Lepley, David Walters,
Ginie Hlavac, Kyle Mollin, Patti Joswick, Eileen King, Abby Reim,

Hilgers, Jodi Wilson
