From Our Pastor Happy Easter!! Today is a day of glory and a day of hope for us all. We celebrate the good news that the tomb was empty and that our Lord Jesus rose from the dead. We contemplate that our Lord Jesus through his own power rose from the dead on the third day. His body is in a state of glory! His wounds are now tokens of His triumph over death. Let us surrender our hearts and wills to our loving God, who offers us new life on earth and in Heaven. We rejoice that the Lord Jesus has opened the gates of Heaven for all who believe and are open to share that peace throughout our earthly journey. Our Parish Rosary will be at 3:30 this Sunday. This is an opportunity for us to reflect on our Lord’s life, death, and Resurrection and the important role of the Blessed Mother in salvation history.

Congratulations to Paula Ringwald, Bernie Smith, Allen Voegerl and their committee for their 17th annual Fish Fry. The food was very delicious. Because of Paula Ringwald, her committee and all the volunteers, this year marked their best financial year on record.

Novena for Divine Mercy begins Holy Thursday or Good Friday. Booklets can be found at the doors of the church. Chaplet will be said 15 minutes before all the Masses on Divine Mercy Weekend, April 27 & 28.

To observe the Feast of Mercy,we should:

1. Celebrate the Feast on the Sunday after Easter;

2. Sincerely repent of all our sins;

3. Place our complete trust in Jesus;

4. Go to Confession, preferably before Sunday; (Father is having confession Sunday Apr.28th from 3:00 to 4:00.)

5. Receive Holy Communion on the day of the Feast;

6. Venerate *the Image of the Divine Mercy;

7. Be merciful to others, through our actions, words, and prayers on their behalf.
