Merry Christmas, Everyone! I hope you had a good celebration with your family and friends! I hope you were able to experience Jesus’ love for you on the day of His birth. Let’s keep celebrating! We spent those four weeks in preparation for Jesus’ coming and now that He’s here, let’s continue to receive the great graces of this Christmas season. How do we do this? Take a moment and reflect back on this month (on this year even). What has been something you’ve learned? What’s an experience of blessing you had (even in the midst of difficulty). Bring that to prayer! Thank God for that experience, for He was and is present there. Sometimes when we experience a grace from God we tend to set it aside and go onto the next thing (just like some of our Christmas presents). What if we continued to return to them, to use them, to even share them. The things we’ve received from and experienced with God are meant to be used for the sake of others. And then, with our coming New Year, we can ask the Lord for strength, courage, patience, kindness, whatever we need, knowing full well He provided for us in 2019, so He’ll continue to do so in 2020. Merry Christmas! Fr. Fallon
