St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Council 11382 volume 23 issue 8 February 2019 page 1 Wow! I am so proud of our council because we are a beacon of light to our parish and community. We boldly live our faith and show our families what it is to be a Catholic man. Just look at what we did in January. Last month we collected roses for life, financially supported our youth as they marched for life, made a large donation to Community Living, helped clean up the parish after Christmas, ran a basketball tournament for the children, ran a blood drive, and prayed at Catholic Men for Christ. You men are an inspiration! In February, we have the luxury of being able to focus on fewer activities. Our major February event is to help at the Community Living Valentine’s Dance for people with disabilities. This will be on the evening of Friday, February 15 th at the Knights Hall in Cottleville. This promises to be a beautiful and rewarding event for all who help. So, I invite you to come. If you are married, bring your wife too. But, we need the names of all who will help (6:15-9:15 PM) by this Thursday evening. Please sign up to help at our meeting this Thursday. You can also sign up online. Again, I am so proud of how we Knights demonstrate our first principle of charity. Thank you for making our council such a success!
