At St. C

yprian’s, we are transform

ing

our neighborhood with the sim

ple belief

that “everyone matters.” In a tim

e of

division and isolation, St. Cyprian’s is

building comm

unity with everything

from free dinners to draw

ing classes,

bike safety workshops, and so m

uch

more. W

e have also become a hom

e

for groups that feed the hungry and

offer comprehensive after-school care

for underserved children. St. Cyprian’s

is touching lives at the corner of Turk

and Lyon and throughout San Francisco.

Will you join us on our journey?

St. Cyprian’s is a spiritual hom

and discussion about Christian faith in

the contemporary context. A

nd at a time

of transformation in C

hristianity, our faith

inspires us to reach out to the whole com

-

munity, doing w

ork that is relevant to all.

Cyprian’s arc, a partnership betw

We have a long history of defying the

odds. Founded by a small group of

black Episcopalians in the early 20th

century, St. Cyprian’s spent years look-

ing for a permanent place of w

orship.

Through elbow grease and determ

ina-

tion, mem

bers funded and built our Turk

and Lyon building in 1960 amidst

sweeping societal changes. A

s we

revitalize both our congregation and

our neighborhood, we are filled w

the same joyful resolve of earlier

St. Cyprian’s generations. Your support

will not only renew

one of San Fran-

cisco’s historic faith comm

unities; it will

connect neighbor to neighbor in the

vibrant here and now.
