All Souls Day, and the entire month of November, is when we traditionally remember our loved ones who have gone before us. This year, St. Christopher’s will remember those souls whose names are handed in during the entire month of November. The names will be placed on the altar for all the Masses during the month. Teaching Mass: On Sunday, October 14th Fr. Paul will be celebrating a Teaching Mass at 11:15 am. We invite all families to attend! If you've ever wondered why we do what we do at Mass- this is your opportunity to learn the ins and outs of the Mass! Did you know? Our Parish has weekly Ado- ration in the Chapel every Wednesday night when Religious Ed is in session from 5:30- 7:30PM. Attention all First Communion parents! Sign-ups for time preference for the day of First Communion are now availa- ble online. Walk through the Lit- urgy with Bishop Barron and be trans- formed through insights on this most privileged and intimate encounter with our Lord Jesus Christ. We invite you to join us beginning Sunday, November 4th for our adult parish Advent study. This year we will be presenting Bishop Barron's new series, The Mass. We will meet in the parish hall from 5-6PM for this 6 week study. September Offeory Basket: $27,843.18 Online: $17,120.00 Total Giving: $44,963.18 We will not be meeting on Octo- ber 18. We will see everyone on Octo- ber 25! Our next event this month will be a campfire on Saturday Octo- ber 27th. This will be a social event and all are welcome, so invite your friends. closely knit words that suggest letting go of image and thoughts (distractions) and entering in to simplicity, stillness and silence. We

Haven Ministries Haven Ministries opened the Winter Homeless Shelter Oct. 1st. We al-ready have people in the shelter, and are expecting a Mom with chil-dren. We are called to be the

hands and feet of Jesus, as we minister to those in need in our Community! Our church will be re-sponsible for providing volunteers, dinners, and lunch & breakfast supplies: NOV 18-21, DEC 16-22, JAN 27 - FEB 2, and APR 8-14. Won't you PLEASE HELP? Sign-Up sheets are now posted on the rolling bulletin board in the Hall for individual, families and ministry groups to help. Music Ministry Our Music Ministry needs YOU!

CANTORS - all ages - Cantors serve as the proclaimers of the Psalm and lead the parish in song . Prior experience is help-ful but not necessary. If you would like to become a cantor, please contact Maryalice for information and a free voice les-son. TEEN CHOIR - Grades 6 - college. Led by JP Bailey. This group leads the music at the 5:00 PM mass on the 2nd and 4th Saturdays and the first Sunday of every month at the 11:15 AM mass. Practices are on Wednesday evenings 5:45-7:00 PM in the church. We are looking for singers and instrumentalist to join us. If you or your student is in choir, band or orchestra in school please come and join us! (yes, this absolutely counts for Service Hours!)

ST. CHRISTOPHER'S CHOIR - All ages - Our choir is looking for new members - no auditions required! The choir minis-ters at the 11:15 AM mass throughout the year as well as other special liturgies. Practices are Wednesday's 7:00 - 8:00 PM in the church. You do not need to read music to join the choir. Please contact Maryalice for more information.

CHILDREN'S CHOIR - K - 5th grade - The Children's is active October through Christmas and February through Easter singing every other week at the 9:00 AM mass, Christmas Eve and Easter Sunday. The group also performs all of the music for the Christmas Pageant. Practices are Thursday evenings from 5:45 - 6:30. The group is led by Ms. Denise and Mary-alice.
