Christmas Neighborhood Outreach This Christmas, we are

planning to reach out to all of our actively registered parishioners with a special Christmas gift and offering information about all of our evangelization programs in our parish. We are in need of donors to offset the cost of these gifts, as well as people to help pack gift bags.

We will have a “bag stuffing party” on Saturday, December 5 at 9:30am. We need many hands to properly pack the gifts and materials for delivery to all of our parishioners the following week. We also need 100 volunteers who will help deliver these gifts two by two, just like the early disciples. Our goal is to reach out to all those who call St. Catherine their parish home and provide them with good Catholic information as they prepare for Christmas. For more information and to volunteer or donate, e-mail Vincent Reilly at [email protected].

Kerygma Update Our 60 participants and 20 team members have completed the post-evangelization ses-sions as part of the Kerygma Evangelization Retreat. They have been commissioned into six evangelized communities that will meet twice a month to share the Word of God and their continued growth in making Jesus the Lord of their life. These communities encour-age one another to live according to the way of the early Church recorded in the Acts of Apos-tles. Our next Kerygma retreat will be April 12-17, 2016. The pre-evangelization sessions will be on Mondays beginning March 7 at 7:00pm.

Why not make a change this fall in the way you generous-ly support our parish? Sign up with eGiving through Faith Direct, which is the most convenient and secure way for you to make your weekly offering to St. Catherine’s. Your automa c contribu ons through Faith Direct will save valuable me for both you and our parish staff. To enroll, please visit Faith Direct's website www.faithdirect.net and use our parish code FL652. You can also fill out and mail a Faith Direct enrollment form from the parish office. Peace and Blessings to your family! Fr. Igna us

Have you noticed the

work?

All monies deposited to this account will not be subject to an assessment by the Diocese and the total amount will remain in the Parish for our ongoing projects.

Communion and Readers: Volunteers are needed for

gatherings over the next several weeks. The next Kerygma Evangelization Retreat

will be April 13-17, 2016.

Formation Center Renovations—Phase 2

We are excited to have begun the second phase of our renovations to the Formation Center. This phase includes ADA compliant bathrooms and a new entranceway which will safely greet our youth and

adults for years to come. In this phase, the Siena Room will be

renovated to be similar to the other redesigned rooms in the Formation Center, so that we will have a total of 8 30’x30’ classrooms in which we can hold Religious Education and other meetings. Another smaller waiting area with adjoining bathroom will be created for parents waiting for their children d u r i n g R e l i g i o u s Education. This meeting room will also serve well several of our senior’s prayer groups that need an ADA bathroom nearby. The additions to the Formation Center will increase the safety and protection of our children who are entrusted to our care. It will also improve the functionality of our building for all of our events, including the annual bazaar. We hope that these renovations will demonstrate the commitment we have to the spiritual formation of our children, youth, and adults, as we continue to proclaim the Gospel message to all our people in new and engaging ways.

While we are under construction, please enter the Formation center through our Rosary Garden.
