6th Sunday in Ordinary Time
Brothers and sisters, whether you eat or drink, or whatev-
er you do, do everything for the glory of God.”
--1Corinthians 10:31
Do a quick check of your priorities. Where does God rank
in that list? If He’s not first, you have some work to do.
Putting God first in everything helps develop the attitude of
“ I am grateful for the gifts God gave me” instead of “I
want more”. For most people gratitude leads to generosity.
God's love must so permeate our motives that all we do
will be for His glory. Keep this as a guiding principle by
asking, "IS THIS ACTION THAT I AM DOING GLORY-
YING GOD?"OR "HOW CAN I HONOR GOD
THROUGH THIS ACTION?" We may be surprised how
often we will find that God hasn't even been considered.
2014 St. Boniface Cookbook The 2014 St. Boniface Cookbook is now in publication. It
is possible that they will be available for purchase this
weekend Nov 1-2. Be on the lookout for
them. The cost will be $10 per book. This will makes a
great Christmas gift!
Liturgical Ministry Schedule
The Parish Office will be closed
Monday, February 16 in observance
of Presidents Day and on Ash
Wednesday.

Ecumenical Dinner a Success
Thank you to all the wonderful people of St. Boniface
who worked so hard to make our Ecumenical dinner such
a success. There was so much work involved, from the set
up of the tables to setting the church back up. The church
looked beautiful, the food was delicious, the cleanup was
fast and thorough.

Bishops Annual Appeal 2015
Last week you should have received a letter and
pledge card from Bishop Hartmayer. Please
prayerfully consider your gift this year. The
people of this parish have a history of great gen-
erosity. This year our parish goal is $23,433.00.
If you have been a regular supporter of the
Bishops Annual Appeal in the past, thank you,
please continue that generous tradition. If you
have never given to the Annual Appeal, please
consider joining our parish family in keeping
the Catholic Community of South Georgia
alive, vibrant, Christ-centered, and responsive
to the needs of God’s people.
CCW MEGA YARD SALE
The money has been counted and CCW's MEGA YARD
SALE netted $4,255.46. CCW wishes to thank all those who
participated in any way: the people who donated and bought
items, helped with the setup and clean up of the Church and
helped with the placement and pricing of items. We also want
to thank all those men and women with muscles and trucks
who helped in numerous ways. We not only sold a lot of
"stuff" to benefit CCW's budget, but were also able to help
other groups and individuals with the following:
Habit for Humanity (Restore) filled their big truck with lefto-
ver items that they will sell in their store. Manna House-Our
parishioners took many truckloads of leftover items for Manna
House to sell in their Thrift Shop. Mary Mistak took the lefto-
ver books to the Effingham Humane Shelter for their upcom-
ing book sale. Lisa Ganser took the leftover picture frames to
use for a Vacation Bible School project.
Joe and Monica Bahm were given a big vase and some silk
flowers and greenery to be used in decorating the Church.
Youth Group-We gave them a leftover multi-game table for
them to use on their game nights. The Church kitchen-We put
some of the donated items in our Church kitchen. CCW Craft
Group-Some donated items were given to this group for crafts
that will be sold to benefit St. Boniface. Some of the new
items that were donated will be used for future CCW events
and activities. As you can see, your donations of time, talent
and treasure paid off in a big way now and will continue to
pay off in the future.
Thank you.

From the Desk of your Servant - Fr. Martino – Lent 2015
Theme: RECALL
RECALL NOTICE: The Maker/Creator of all human beings (GOD) is recalling all units manufactured,
regardless of make, year and models due to a serious defect in the primary and central component of the
heart. This is due to a malfunction in the original prototype units, code named, Adam and Eve, resulting
in the reproduction of the same defect in all subsequent units. This defect has been identified as "Sub-
sequential Internal Non- morality," more commonly known as S.I.N., as it is primarily expressed.
Some of the symptoms include:
1. Loss of direction 2. Foul vocal emissions 3. Amnesia of origin 4. Lack of peace and
joy
5. Selfish or violent behavior 6. Depression or confusion 7. Fearfulness 8. Idolatry 9. Rebel-
lion
The Manufacturer, who is neither liable nor at fault for this defect, is providing factory-authorized re-
pair and service, free of charge, to correct this defect. The Insurer/Repair Technician, JESUS, has most
generously offered to bear the entire burden of the staggering cost of these repairs. There is no additional
fee required. The number to call for repair in all areas is: P-R-A-Y-E-R. Once connected, please up-
load your burden of SIN through the REPENTANCE procedure. Next, download ATONEMENT from
the Repair Technician, Jesus, into the heart component. No matter how big or small the SIN defect is,
Jesus will replace it with:
1. Love 2. Joy 3. Peace 4. Patience 5. Kindness
6. Goodness 7. Faithfulness 8. Gentleness 9. Self- control
Please see the operating manual, the B.I.B.L.E. (Best Instructions Before Leaving Earth) for further
details on the use of these fixes.
WARNING: Continuing to operate the human being unit without correction voids any manufacturer
warranties, exposing the unit to dangers and problems too numerous to list, and will result in the human
unit being permanently impounded. For free emergency service, call on Jesus. (Or call Fr. Martino 912-
754-7473)
DANGER: The human being units not responding to this recall action will have to be scrapped in the
furnace. The SIN defect will not be permitted to enter Heaven so as to prevent contamination of that fa-
cility.
Thank you for your attention!
Your Maker/Creator - GOD
P.S. Please assist where possible by notifying others of this important recall notice!! Working for God
on earth doesn't pay much...but His retirement plan is out of this world!
Please see the other side for details of this RECALL – The Business hours of Certified Mechanics at
Saint Boniface Catholic Church!
