February Second Collection

February 27/28 - Church in Africa/Central & Eastern Europe

The Catholic Appeal is an annual collection used to fund the central ministries and administration of the Archdiocese of Boston. Most parishioners will receive a pledge form in the mail directly from the Catholic Appeal Office. Additional pledge forms are available at the doors of the church beginning the weekend of March 6th. If the parish exceeds its goal, the Archdiocese credits the parish with a portion of the surplus. If the parish does not meet its goal, the Archdiocese assesses the parish the entirety of the shortfall. This year's Catholic Appeal goal for the parish is $37,876.

FUND FOR THE NEEDY 2016 HAPPY EASTER DINNER PROGRAM - Thanks to the generosity and faithful support of our parishioners and benefactors, the Fund for the Needy Committee maintains a food pantry in our parish center that provides emergency hunger relief and holiday meals to people in our local neighborhoods who are experiencing financial difficulties. Once again this year, the Fund is able to offer all the ingredients necessary to families in need for a Happy Easter Dinner. Easter Dinner request forms are available from March 2 - March 18 during regular food pantry hours, Wed. - Fri, 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM. Recipients must reside in the South Plymouth and Manomet area. If you know of a family who would benefit from a Happy Easter Dinner or if you would like to make a donation to support our parish food pantry, please call (508) 224-3636, Ext. 124 or email the Fund at [email protected].
