Child’s parking lot. It’s .me for fall cleaning!
Bring your clean, gently worn clothes, shoes, lin-
ens, small furniture, household items, toys, books and small

Let’s “STUFF THE TRUCK” with all of us working together we
can collect a lot of items that can be used by the poor and
needy in Allegheny County or sold at the SVdP thri@ stores.
Mark your calendar for Saturday, Oct 5th from 10:00AM to
1:00 PM. Don’t forget the bake sale, too!
The PiBsburgh Rosary Congress will take place between Mon-
day 10/7/19 and Sunday 10/13/19 at St. Stanislaus Kostka in
the Strip District. This is inspired by St. John Paul II visit to Po-
land in 1979 and the Rosary devo.on that preceded it, leading
to the transforma.on of Poland and other Soviet block coun-
tries to religious freedom and expansion of Catholic faith in
these countries.
At the PiBsburgh Rosary Congress, the Rosary and Divine Mer-
cy Chaplet will be prayed hourly. Volunteers to lead prayer
and recita.on are requested 24x7 throughout the Congress
between 10/7 and 10/13. This is a great opportunity to ad-
vance our devo.on to our Lady and the Rosary.
Our Parish Grouping is signed up to lead Rosary and Divine
Mercy Chaplet recitaon at St. Stanislaus on Thursday
10/10/19 from 7:009:00 pm. We will plan to meet and car
pool to the Strip District at Holy Child parking lot between 6:00
6:15 PM (and return to Holy Child following our shi@).
Here is link to the PiBsburgh Rosary Congress website……
www.piBsburghrosarycongress.org. What beBer opportunity
to promote devo.on to Rosary recita.on and con.nued re-
quest for prayers to our Lady for a world that calls for her in-
tercession and guidance
Magnificat Pi sburgh Prayer Breakfast Ladies, come
to the Magnificat PiBsburgh prayer breakfast on Oct. 26 from 9
am to Noon at the Double Tree by Hilton, Cranberry Twp.
Don’t miss speaker Barbara Heil who will tell you an amazing
conversion story in a very engaging way. Barbara is a strong
Catholic and came to Catholicism through a theological search
for the truth. As a college student, she was a nonbeliever led
to Christ then to service as a Pentecostal minister evangelizing
in over 55 countries. As a Catholic she has traveled the U.S.
and world seeing thousands healed and set free and equipping
lives for the glory of God. Cost of the breakfast is $23. To regis-
ter, call Donna, 4123640969 or Pam, 4124618906 or go to
www.magnificatpiBsburgh.org. Registra.on deadline is Octo-
ber 18.

Parish Share 2019 Update: It has been quite some .me since we’ve wriBen an update of our 2019 Parish Share Goals. As you
recall from the leBer everyone received in March of this year, our Parish Grouping grand total of $220,431.00 is due to the Diocese
of PiBsburgh, even if that amount is not collected. At this .me, we have already collected 70% of that goal with a total paid of
$154,381.00. That gives us a balance due of $66,050.00. Also, remember any amount collected over our goal is kept at the parish
and those amounts are not assessed for future Parish Share Programs.
We would like to thank everyone who has already contributed and con.nue to use their Parish Share monthly envelopes. If you
have not yet contributed to this year’s assessment, please do so as soon as possible. You may use the original card that was mailed
in March, the Parish Share reminder enveloped enclosed in your monthly envelopes or simply mark your check’s memo line with
PARISH SHARE 2019. Your Parish Share totals are always included in the yearend contribu.on statements.
We have always exceeded our goals in the past and we are confident that we will reach that goal again, with everyone’s help.
