RE/Topic Reading Literacy Maths PE

Monday This week we will be focusing on Science. The Topic will be called ‘Light and Shadows.’ Where does light come from? Can you write a letter to your new class teacher? Can you tell her about yourself? Who is in your family? Who are your friends? What do you like to do outside of school? What are you good at? What is your favourite thing to do at school? What are you most looking forward to next year?

This week we will be revising place value. With an adult practice counting in multiples of 2, 3, 5 and 10. Then complete the activity attached. Tuesday How can we make a dark place light? In your home, visit a dark place with no window. (This may be a cupboard). How well do you eyes adjust? What can you see? Can you see shadows?

Friday How do you stay safe in the dark? It is really important that you stay safe in the dark. It can be dangerous to cross roads or be near traffic but sometimes we have to be out in the dark.
