ST. AUGUSTINE CAMP ROCK 2016

The 1st St. Augustine Camp Rock will be held at the St Augustine Amphitheater June 6-10, 2016. Camp Rock will provide an exciting educational and musical experience

for St Johns Co. middle and high school boys and girls in a camp focusing on Rock Music instruction, organization, performance and recording.

Camp Rock Format

Classes: Students will be placed in classes based on the instruments they play. There will be guitar, bass, drums, keyboards and vocal classes. Each will be led by

instructors with many years of real performing and recording experiences. All instructors have experience teaching their instruments and working with

students.

Combos: Students will be formed into combos, grouped by the instructors to create an authentic experience playing as a band.

Performance: Each combo will play in a performance, open to the public, at the conclusion of the camp.

Recording: Each combo will come to Eclipse Studios to record the song(s) they performed in the camp. The songs will be compiled into a St. Augustine Camp

Rock CD. Each student will receive a recording of the camp performances.

Please share this with students who may be interested. Applicants must demonstrate basic proficiency on their instrument by submitting a video of them performing

approximately 1 minute long in any format. Video and application must be submitted together by May 1, 2016. Camp cost is $200.
