Future EinsteinsAges 3-10

Imagine Tomorrow Computer Class for Kids Ages 3-5 (Educational Program that introduces technology skills to children in a fun and exciting way.) Imagine Tomorrow Computer Classes for Kids that are structured to provide the perfect mix of group interactivity and individual computer time. During class, children become Computer Detectives on a learning adventure to imaginative places such as Email Trial or Internet Island. Classes start with an interactive video voicemail describing a new, fun-filled mission. Children then move on to their own laptop computer where they work on custom software designed specifically for each mission. Advancing at their own pace, children proudly apply new technology skills to solve problems and accomplish their goal. When class ends, children continue to enjoy their mission from home with online software activities that correspond to the current lesson. Skills learned: Early Reading & Writing, Thinking & Problem Solving, Listening Comprehension, Keyboarding and Computer Basics as well as Internet and Digital Communications.Adventure Computer Class- Scooby Doo and Freddi Fish! for Kids Ages 6-10 Grandma Grouper’s Kelp Seeds Are Missing! Without Grandma Grouper’s Kelp Seeds, all the fish will go hungry. Luckily, Freddi Fish and her finny friend Luther are on the case! But the ocean’s a big place and there’s a lot of ground to cover - caves, canyons, reefs and more. Children will dive right into this fascinating adventure and all the colorful characters that go with it. It’s an underwater world of discovery, laughter and learning, all in one. Can you help Fred, Velma, and the gang solve the mystery behind the Phantom Knight and his dragon? Scooby-Doo: Phantom of the Knight offers laughs and a series of challenging puzzles to entertain young children. Set up much like an episode of the classic television series, the program puts players in an old, castle-themed amusement park to explore for clues to its haunting. Some of the scarier areas will require feeding Scooby or Shaggy to coax them in; snacks can be obtained by several tests of skill along the way. Once enough clues have been collected, players decide who’s to blame, then check to see if the guess is right in an action sequence that closes play. Three levels of difficulty are available, and each offers increasing pressure in the form of red-herring clues and harder challenges to acquire Scooby Snacks. • All equipment is supplied. Each child will have a laptop to use for each session. • Imagine Tomorrow program no Classes on December 23, 2011 or January 30, 2012 • Adventure Computer Class no classes on December 28, 2011Date: December 7, 2011 - February 20, 2012 Time: Ages 6-10 Wednesdays 3:30- 4:30 pm Ages 3-5 Fridays 9:30 - 10:30 amLocation: St. Albans City HallFee: $65 Resident, $78 Non-Resident

Voice Over ClassAges 14+

YOU’RE ON THE AIR (How to Really Make it in Voice-Overs!) (A One-time 2 Hour Program)

VOICE-OVERS are hot today! You don’t have to be an actor to get voice-over work, but it certainly doesn’t hurt! With such notable talent as Morgan Freeman, Glenn Close, and Alec Baldwin lending their voices to commercials, films, and videos, one would think that it would be next to impossible to break into this field. Not so! You’ll learn about an exciting, new way to get around the competition and actually turn voice-overs into a thriving full or part-time business! Charlie Nardozzi will discuss the voice-over business as a whole, the numerous opportunities, the incredible income potential, and will discuss the all-important “demo” and how to have it produced. You’ll step up to the mic and do some practice recording, and best of all, you’ll hear the results!

Charlie Nardozzi has a friendly, natural, positive sounding voice with a great genuine quality. He’s been involved in radio and television for the past 15 years hosting his own shows and appearing as a guest on numerous other shows. Charlie has hosted a call-in radio show on WJOY-AM in Vermont for 15 years. He is a frequent commentator on public radio and often is a guest on their daily magazine show, Vermont Edition. He writes and records his own segments for the Vermont Garden Journal on public radio from his home studio. He also is a frequent guest on nationally-syndicated shows such as Martha Stewart Living Radio. He has recorded podcasts, promotions, and commercials for all his shows and events.
