A. WHAT HAPPENS AT DEATH?

• The moral cause of death is sin, Rom 5:12; 1 Cor 15:21-22

• The immediate cause of death is nature

• The ultimate cause of death is God, 1 Sam 2:6; Job 14:5; Luke 12:5

Point 2.• After death

there is destiny, because this life is just probation.

SSM Spring 2010

Survey of Theology - Shelby 6

Point 3.• Character is formed

by habit; destiny is set by character, so when a soul passes out into eternity it continues to be what it was in time.

4) The Lake of Fire will eventually flood Hell, Rev 20:14-15: 21:8

5.) The only escape is now, and once a person gets in Christ all condemnation

is removed, Rom 8:1
