About the Founder and CEO
Carla Jones is the President and CEO of Salon Solutions Group. As an industry thought-leader,
with over 25 years of health, beauty and wellness experience, Carla has a proven track record of
driving individuals, salons, educational institutions and fortune 50 beauty industry manufacturers
market share, dominance and leadership. Carla’s area of expertise focuses in the following Critical
Target Areas (CTA’s); Education and Training, Salon and School Operations and Management,
Social Media Marketing, Advertising, and Sales strategies and Customer Relations Management.
Carla is an award winning industry professional, a member of Professional Beauty Association
(PBA), Independent Contractor Peer Evaluator for NACCAS, a nationally published author and
contributor to a number of print and online media. She received her Master’s degree in Business
Administration from Cardinal Stritch University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Business
Administration from Florida A&M University. Carla also holds an active Barber Instructors license in
Alabama and active Cosmetology Instructors licenses in four states.
Carla's journey has allowed her to work for such industry giants as L’Oreal, USA and Empire
Education Group as well as Salon and Cosmetology School ownership. Additional operations and
management experience includes Career College Campus President, General Motors, Pfizer
Pharmaceuticals, and The Thermos Company.
