Educational Programme:

Our aim at SSPYV is to coach children to acquire knowledge by developing inquisitiveness

& inculcating reading. Our well stocked library facilitates the same.

The curriculum is in conformity with the CBSE syllabus. To instill a strong base in

mathematics, abacus and lab sessions are conducted regularly. Daily learning includes audio visual

education. Children are encouraged to do project work to develop their capabilities thereby making

them confident individuals.

Infra-Structure:

The school has well ventilated classrooms, comfortable hygienic accommodation and staff

quarters. There are bore wells yielding excellent potable water. Essential facilities like power,

telephone, transport etc. are available.

1. Main Building : With an area of 44,000 sq ft. the building consists of a spacious courtyard

with a stage for cultural activities. A 2500 sq ft. mini auditorium is facilitated with digital

projection arrangement. There exists a library cum reading room, modern laboratories for

Computer Science, Maths, Chemistry, Biology and Physics.

2. Hostel Block : It is a spacious, well ventilated building with a courtyard and staff quarters.

Additional new boys hostel is under construction.

3. Dining Block : With an area of 11,000 sq.ft the block can cater to 300 students at a time.

4. Staff Quarters & Guest House : Staff Quarters and Two Guest House Block with an area

of 3500 sp.ft.

5. Swimming Pool : The hygienic swimming pool is half the size of an Olympic pool.

6. Games Courts : Basket Ball, Roller Skating Rink, Shuttle, Volley Ball and ample space for

outdoor activities and games.

Educational Tours :

The Educational tours undertaken once a

year expose the children to our rich history,

culture and heritage. It also helps them to

develop a keen sense of observation, patriotism,

tolerance and need for co-existence. Visit to

industries helps them comprehend the wonders

& application of technology.

The School : The school was started in 2001. Classroom teaching includes Audio-Visual Presentations.

Sports, Games, Yoga and Meditation are part of daily routine. Students are guided & encouraged to

develop natural talents in arts and culture. As the students and teachers live on the same campus, a

small group of students are under close observation of a House Parent (Teacher). The mess provides

a well balanced nutritious vegetarian diet. The teachers accompany the students to the dining hall to

inculcate right eating habits. Fresh cow’s milk and vegetables are available at the campus.

The Campus: The School campus sprawls over 50 acres of lush land and is located in a serene & natural

environment in Chittoor District, Andhra Pradesh. It is at an altitude of 760 Metres (2,500 feet)

with pleasant climate throughout the year. Regular buses ply between Kuppam and Bangalore,

Chittoor, Chennai, Krishnagiri etc. Located 21 kms. north of Kuppam Railway Station on Kuppam-

Palamaner National Highway-219, the school can be reached easily by rail. The nearest Airport is

Bengaluru which is 130 kms away.
