    instruments; svajana-sahitam-with His associates; krtana-param-engaged in krtana; sad-eternally; upsyam-to be worshiped; sarvai-by all; kali-of Kali-yuga; mala-the impurities;haram-removing; bhakta-to the devotees; sukha-happiness; dam-giving; bhajmas-we worship;tam-Him; nityam-eternally; ravaa-hearing; manana-and meditating; dya-beginning with;rcana-vidhau-in the process of worship.

    By hearing of Him, meditating on Him, and performing many other activities, let usworship Lord Ka who, His complexion now splendid as gold, overcome with ecstaticlove, intently engaged in krtana, surrounded by His associates playing mdagas andother musical instruments, worshiped by all, removing the contamination of Kali-yuga, andgiving happiness to the devotees, has now appeared in Navadvpa.

    I offer my respectful obeisances to Navadvpa, the blissful spiritual abode the ChndogyaUpaniad says is a spiritual city, the Smti-sstra says is the abode of Lord Viu, otherssay is vetadvpa, a devotee expert at tasting transcendental nectar is the forest of Vraja.

    When, as I wander in Navadvpa's forests, will I fall uncosnscious as I suddenly seewonderful, youthful Lord Gaura jubilantly dancing with His associates?

    May scriptures where the very wonderful glory of Lord Gaurga's city is not heard neverenter my ears. May wretched people who do not become joyful when Mypura's gloryenters their ears never come to speak to me or even enter the path of my eyes.

    Enough! Enough with the happiness of staying among women she-asses! Enough! Enough

    with wealth, children, scholarship, and fame! Enough! Enough with the troubles of manykinds of spiritual practice! Take shelter of Antardvpa and become fortunate!

    The home of Lord Gaura's youthful pastimes, r Mypura, where the ground is soft,there is a great splendor of many jewels, there are wonderful sounds of many birds andanimals, and there are wonderful trees and vines with many flowers, is my life and soul.

    na-not; deham-body; anyatra-in another place; kadpi-ever;ytu-will go; me-my.

    Millions on millions of cintmai jewels may meet together in some other place. Lord Harimay personally appear in some other place before everyone's eyes. Still, my body darkenedwith Godruma's dust will never go to any other place.

    kpayatu-may be merciful; mayi-to me; madhyadvpa-in Madhyadvpa;ll-pastimes; vicitr-wonderful; kpayatu-may be kind; mayi-to me; mhe-foolish; brahma-kua-di-trtham-theholy places beginning with Brahma-kua;phalatu-may become fruitful; tad-anukamp-Hismercy; kalpa-vall-kalpa-valli vines; tath-so; eva-indeed; eva-indeed;viharati-enjoyspastimes;jana-bandhur-the friend of all living entities;yatra-where; madhyhna-kle-atmidday.

    May the Lord's wonderful pastimes in Madhyadvpa be kind to me. May Brahma-kua

    and the other sacred places there be kind to me, a fool. May the kalpa-valli vine of thekindness of He who is everyone's friend and who plays in Madhyadvpa at midday, bear itsfruits.

    viuddha-pure; advaita-eka-unalloyed;praaya-love; rasa-sweet;pya-of nectar;jaladau-inthe ocean; ac-sno-of Lord Caitanya; dvpe-on the island; samudayati-rise; vndvana-ofVndvana; maho-splendor; mitha-mutual;prema-with love; udghrd-tossed;rasika-expertat enjoying nectar; mithuna-couple;kram-pastimes; ania-day and night; tad-that; eva-indeed; adhysnam-seated;praviati-enters;pade-in the status; kva api-somewhere; madhure-sweet.

    In the sweet nectar ocean of pure, undivided love, on an island of the Lord who is ac'sson, Vndvana is manifest. There, tossed by pure love for each other, the sweet divine

    couple enjoys transcendental pastimes day and night. One who stays there enters acondition of life that is full of of nectar.

    I do not know whether I shall be able to meditate on Lord Mdhava's two lotus feet. Am Iqualified to follow the path of r ukadeva Gosvm, r Nrada Muni, and the other greatsaints? Still, whether I meet good or ill, the beautiful forest of Godruma, where rmat

    Rdh enjoys transcendental pastimes, is my life and soul.

    tena-by Him; kri-done;samasta-all; eva-indeed; bhagavad-dharmo-religion; api-also; tena-by him; adbhuta-wonderful;sarvasmt-than all;purua-arthato-goals of life; api-even;parama-greater; kacit-something; kara-in the hand; sth-kta-standing; tena-by him;dhyi-placed; samasta-of all; mrdhani-on the head;pada-the foot; brahma-dayas-theywho are headed by Brahm; ta-him; namanti-offer obeisances; -undtil; deha-of the body;antam-the end; adhri-held;yena-by whom; vasatau-in the residence; vndvane-inVndvana; nicayam-determination.

    One who is firmly determined to stay in Navadvpa until the end of his body, has alreadyperformed all kinds of devotional service. The greatest and most wonderful of all goals oflife rests in his hand. His feet are on everyone's head. Brahm and the demigods bow downbefore him.

    khaga-vnd pau-vnddruma-valli-vndam unmada-prema

    prayad amta-rasairnavadvpkhya vana namata

    khaga-vnd-birds;pau-vnd-beasts; druma-valli-vndn-trees and vines; unmada-prema-with wild love;prayad-pleasing; amta-rasaih-with sweet nectar; navadvpa-akhyam vanam-the forest of Navadvpa; namata-please offer respectful obeisances.

    Offer your respectful obeisances to the forest of Navadvpa which, by giving them thesweet nectar of wild spiritual love, delights its birds, beasts, trees, and vines.

    rtha-mnino dhrs tad etan na vaya tu vidmar-rdhik-mdhava-

    vallabha na sad navadvpa-vana tu saraya

    One who never performs any spiritual activities, but who has wholeheartedly taken shelterof Navadvpa, will attain the great festival of the nectar of pure love for r Rdh's

    beloved.

    na navadvpa-smtapada me calatu kvacit

    tyajantu-may abandon; sva-jan-my own people; kma-as they like; deha-for the body;vtti-activity; ca-and; m-not; astu-may be; v-or; na-not; navadvpa-Navadvpa; smta-from

    the border;pada-one step; me-of me; calatu-take; kvacit-anywhere.

    My own people may leave me. My body may collapse. Still, I will not take a single stepbeyond the border of Navadvpa.

    She is not my mother, he is not my father, he is not my relative, he is not my friend, he isnot my well-wisher, and he is not my guru, who does not wish me to reside in rmatRdh's forest of Navadvpa.

    For sinful me what is as auspicious as staying in the land of Godruma until this bodyends? Will I then touch the flood of splendor flowing from the feet of the beautiful divinecouple that enjoys newer and newer transcendental pastimes?

    When, manifesting a spiritual body, will I reside in Lord Gaurga's city, where all the

    moving and stationary living entities eternally shine with the splendor of intensely blissfulspiritual forms, and which they, whose eyes are blinded by my, misunderstand with ahost of faulty ideas?

    yatra-where;pravia-entered; sakalo-all; api-even;jantu-living entities; sarva-all;padrtho-things; api-even; abudhair-by the unintelligent; adya-not being able to see; sa-with;nanda-bliss; sat-eternal; cit-spiritual and full of knowledge; ghanatm-intensity; upaiti-attains; tad-that; eva-indeed; gaurga-puram-of Lord Gaurga's city; raymi-I take shelter.

    Take shelter of Lord Gaurga's city where, unseen by the unintelligent, all living entitiesand even all things are blissful, eternal, spiritual, and full of knowledge.

    dhmni-in the holy abode of Navadvpa; na-not; khalu-indeed; bhavati-is; vandhy-fruitless;tasya-his; vndvana-in Vndvana; -desire.

    He who, rejecting others' wealth, others' wives, hatred, envy, greed, dishonesty, cruelty,violence, and lying words, becomes devoted to the holy abode of Navadvpa, will not be

    frustrated in his desire to stay in Vndvana.

    kuru sakalam adharma muca sarva svadharmatyaja gurum api gauraya-vsnurodht

    sa tava parama-dharma s ca bhaktir gurnsa kila kalua-rir yad dhi vsntarya

    kuru-do; sakalam-everything; adharma-irreligious; muca-abandon; sarva-all;svadharma-religious duties; tyaja-abandon; gurum-your guru; api-even; gauraya-in

    Gauraya forest; vsa-for residence;anurodht-in consideration; sas-he; tava-your;parama-dharma-supreme religious principle; s-that; ca-also; bhaktir-devotion; gurn-to thespiritual masters; sas-that; kila-indeed; kalua-of sins; rir-a heap;yad-which; hi-indeed;vsa-residence; antarya-impediment.

    Do everything that opposes religious principles, reject all religious duties, and abandonyour guru in order to reside in Gauraya. That is your supreme religious duty. That isdevotion to your guru. Your sins are whatever stops you from residing in Gauraya.

    nirmarydcarya-kruya-pragaurraye yan navadvpa-dhma

    ya ko 'py asmin ydas tdo vdehasynte prpnuyd eva siddhim

    nirmaryda-limitless; carya-wonderful; kruya-with mercy;prau-filled; rdh-kau-Rdh-Ka;payata-seeing; cet-if; kadcit-sometimes;ya-who; ka api-someone; asmin-here; ydas-like this; tdo-like that; v-or; dehasya-of the body; ante-at the end;prpnuyd-may attain; eva-indeed;siddhim-perfection.

    When his body ends, he who stays in Gauraya's abode of Navadvpa, which is filledwith wonderful, limitless mercy, will attain perfection.

    na-not; loka-of the world; veda-and of the Vedas; uddhta-mrga-bhedair-by the paths; viya-entering; sakliyata-distressed; re-O; vim-bewildered; hahena-forcibly; sarva-everything;parihtya-renouncing; gaue-in Gaua; r-godrume-in r Godruma;para-ofleaves; ku-a hut; kurudhvam-make.

    Fools, the paths of the world and the Vedas will bring you only trouble! Give upeverything and make yourself a leaf-hut in r Godruma in Gaua-dea!

    The Vedas may talk as they like, the people may think whatever they like, and theunintelligent logicians may establish whatever theories they like, but our heart will never

    leave the forest where Lord Ka, His form filled with the sweet nectar of splendid, pure,passionate spiritual love, enjoyed the pastimes of r Rdh.

    O foolish people, please seek the path of pure hari-bhakti, which even th great sages in

    ancient times could not find after long searching. If in your heart there is no faith, and ifyou think it is too difficult to attain, then please abandon all these misconceptions andtake shelter of Lord Gaura's city.

    dhmnor-of the two abodes; abhedt-because of non-difference; chakata-100 verses;pthak pthak-separately; ktv-having done; api-even; bh-words;samat-sameness;samhit-desired; gaurga-dhmno-of Lord Gaurga's abode; mahim-the glory; vieata-specifically; atra-here; eva-indeed; v-words; vihit-placed; kvacit-somewhere;pthak-specifically.

    Because the two abodes (Navadvpa and Vndvana) are not different, in some of these 100verses I have said that they are the same place. Still, in other verses I have specificallydescribed the glories of Lord Gaurga's transcendental abode.
