SKCET emerges as one among the Top 100 Private Institutions in ARIIA 2019

SKCET proves its prowess in the first edition of Atal Ranking of Institutions on Innovation Achievements (ARIIA) to be a prominent Higher Education Institution (HEI) in India to showcase the multi-disciplinary research and innovation ecosystem in the National front.

This India ranking is a tribute to SKCET’s top scores in indicators pertaining to “Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development” amongst students and faculties.

Dr.K.Lakshmi, HoD/EEE convened meeting with all the faculty members. The key points

discussed in the meeting were: Effective Teaching Learning Process by the faculty

members to reach the assigned targets for the upcoming odd semester, Schedule of

Department placement review meeting with final year students, Revised schedule for guest

lecture for individual courses, NPTEL course selection for the academic year 2019-2020,

NBA review and NAAC responsibilities allocation for faculty members.

Department meeting was convened by Dr. S. Sophia, HoD, Department of ECE with the

faculty members. HoD had a discussion on NPTEL and Global certification course completion,

conduct of classes, placement related activities and conduct of Saturday activities efficiently.

Dr.K.Sasi Kala Rani, Head of the Department, Computer Science and Engineering convened a meeting with the Department Faculty members at the Department Conference Room. The Agenda was on the NAAC SSR Preparation, Criterion Review, Teaching Learning Process, Classroom activities on Saturday, Semester Results, Final year (2020 batch) students review for placements, Faculty Progression, Attendance Monitoring, Journal Publication, R&D project proposal, Club activities, Placements, Roles and Responsibilities of the Faculty and targets for the upcoming academic year.

A meeting was convened by Dr. T. A. Selvan for the department faculty members . Preparation for the Academic year, Students monitoring schedule and quality of teaching and learning was discussed in the meeting.

Ms S Lavanya of IT department has published a book chapter titled “Impact of Cloud of

Clouds in Enterprises Application” in the book titled “Novel Practices and Trends in Grid

and Cloud Computing” published by IGI-Global.
