Squares
1. The square number have 0,1,,4,5,6or 9 in thejr ones place.
2. A natural number having 2,3,7or 8 in its ones place will never be a perfect square.
3.The square of a number that ends in 5 and the square of a number also ends in 0 also ends in 0. For example, 5^2=25;15^2=225and 10^2=100 and20^2=400.
4.When a numberhas 1 or 9 in its ones place , its square will end in 1. For example, 1^2=1,11^2=121 and 9^=81,19^2=361.
5. The square of an even number is an even number.
6.The square of an ood number is also an odd number.
7. When we add 2 triangular numbers we get a square number. For example, 1+3=4; 3+6=9; 6+10=16.
8. Every square number is either multiple of 3 or is greater than a multiple of 3 by 1. For example, 2^2=4=3+1=4; 3^2=9; 4^2=16=3*5+1=16; 5^2=25=3*8+1.
