SPT Stephen Paul Taylor has been making Synthpop music with an Eighties flair since the fall of 2012. One might say he is the controversial, glitter- obsessed lovechild of Depeche Mode, the B52s and the Talking Heads. His live shows involve frequent costume changes (with a “costume- change song”) and choreographed dance-moves. They also feature Taylor's catchy songs that stick in your head for days. SPT moved from Planet Party to Berlin and went semi-viral with a street- performance of his song “Everybody Knows Sh*t's F*cked” in 2014. He has played in some of Berlin's hottest venues (Kater Holzig, Prince Charles and Urban Spree, to name a few) as well as performing in Finland, Austria, Belgium, Holland and Switzerland. He has also had quite a bit of Media coverage in Germany, having been featured on Joiz TV, Die Welt (A story and video piece) and RTL2, among others.
