Sprint Workforce Locator

Locate
Sprint Workforce Locator helps you manage your workforce by allowing you to access your workers loca-tions in real-time. You can then send messages, send directions to new locations, and receive scheduled updates.
The Locate All button is available for accounts with 25 lines or less
User Guide
Select the workers you want to locate, then click the “Locate” button
Once you locate a worker, their Map Pin will show up on the map
Click next to the avator to view Member Details
From Member Details, you can send a Member a message, set tracking parameters, view profile info, and view see the number of groups that Member belongs to

Messaging
Messaging and communication are important functions for any business. That’s why we’ve made it easy to message your Members. Message one specific Member or your entire fleet, all in a simple to use interface.
Enter in your message here

Open up the message window by clicking on “Message”
In the Message window, you can select which members to receive the message
Click on on “Send” when you’re all set to send your message

Scheduled Tracking
Active Tracking
Automatically track and locate your Members using Scheduled and Active Tracking.
If you want a quick tracking option, you can turn on Active Tracking, which tracks the selected Member-every 10 minutes for the next 8 hours

Click on Tracking from the Member Details seciond. Scheduled Tracking allows you to choose automatically locate Members based on a defined schedule (days of the week and time of day) Select your criteria from the Track-ing window
Click on “Save” when you’re done

Create a group
Naming a Group
Groups consist of multiple Members. You can use Groups to make it easier to organize your workforce, including tracking and communicating with teams at a work site, or creating emergency dispatch groups to send multiple employees to a location on the fly.
Enter a unique Group name

Start by clicking on the Groups tab
Next, click on “Create a Group”
Next, choose which Members you want to be part of this group, you can choose just a few, or choose everyone
When you’re done, click on “Create”
As a note, Groups can consist of up to 25 Members

Locating a Group
Adding Membersand messaging
Once you have created a Group, you can then all Locate that Group simultaneously. You can then send message to that Group, and even add Members.
To add new Members to the Group or to message everyone in the group, click on the down arrow.

Your new group will now appear in the Groups tab.Click on the ‘Locate’ button to locate the Members of this Group
Click on the message button to send a message to this entire group
To change the group name or to add/remove members, click on ‘Edit Group’

Creating a Place
Send directions
The ‘Places’ feature allows you to create landmarks that are used as waypoints or as frequently used loca-tions for your workforce.
Once you create a Place, you can send directions to any of your Members directly to that Place

To create a new Place, open the My Places tab
Click on Add a Place
Once you generate a directions list, you can print them out or text them to your Members
From the Add a Place window, you can change the avatar, give the place a name, and add an address

Location history
Send directions
The History tab allows you to view the past locations of your Members. Choose to view the location history of 1, 7, 14, and 31 days. Use past location history records to resend your Members to an old job site.
To view the location history of your workers on the map, select the Show all on Map option

To see the location history for any of your Members, click on the History tab
Select the Member you want to locate from the drop down tab, and then select the time period that you want to view
You can send any Members direc-tion by selecting the Map Pin and clicking on the directions option

Settings
Reports
You can change the account settings to tailor Sprint Workforce Locator around you. Set defaults like zoom level, measurement units, zip code, and Session Time Out. You can also set up Scheduled Reports through the settings menu.
You can set up how often you want to receive Location History Reports. Choose from daily, weekly, and monthly time frames, and who you want the reports to be sent to
These reports consist of detailed location data for all your workers
Reports can be sent to a maximum of 4 recipients

Open the settings menu by clicking on the gear icon
Once you are in the settings menu, you can change your time zone, your default map zoom level, default zip code, and the Session Time Out length

Creating an Admin
You can create 2 types of administrator accounts: Delegated and Group. A Delegated Administrator can locate all Members in the account. A Group Administrator has more limited access and can only locate Groups that have been authorized by the Primary or Delegated Administrator.
Fill in the required information about the new Administrator

Click on your account name to open the Administrator window
Click on “Add a New Admin” button

Don’t forget to choose what type of Admin account you want to create- Delegated Admins can locate anyone in this account- Group Admins can only locate authorized Groups
Click “Save” when you are all done

Manage Admins
You can suspend an Administrator at any time, with the ability to instantly reinstate their Admin status.
Once you have clicked on the pencil icon, click on the Suspended option to temporarily suspend an Admin

To suspend an Admin, click on the administrators name to open up the Manage Administrator window
Next, find which Admin you want to suspend. Then click on the ‘pencil’ icon

Suspended Admins will not be able to log in to the application until their account is changed back to Active status
Click Save when you are all done

Upon log in, any new messages will be displayed. You can view any of your old messages within the Mes-sage Center

Click on the message icon to open up the Message Center window
The Message Center will show all messages sent from the Workforce Locator team. This may include news on updates, features, or helpful tips.

Password Reset
Forgot your password? No problem. You can recover it in a couple easy steps.
Next, type in the email or User ID that you use to log into your account. Instructions on how to reset your password will be sent to that email.
