A BOUT THE G REEK N EWSLETTER ... The concept of the Greek Newsletter is to provide an avenue for information, updates, accolades and events that will highlight the eight Greek groups, the Greek national honor society, and governing council at Ripon College. Each issue will include upcoming events, articles and opinion pieces by Ripon College Greeks, and the support system that surround them. The ultimate hope of this newsletter is that the reader (s) will find him/herself more aware of Ripon College Greek Life, its service to the community, and events present not only on the Ripon College campus, but in the community as well. Can’t wait to see who wins! Good luck to all chapters! Greek Council is getting ready to have a successful Greek Week! Greek Week is scheduled for April 21-26 with the theme of Classical Olympics! Events in the week include a lip sync competition, a dunk tank for our philanthropy (Boys and Girls Club of Berlin), a cookout, a pub party, a faculty and staff social and most of all Greek Awards! Greek Awards is that Tuesday and this is a time when Greek leaders and organizations are recognized for the hard work they do on campus. Awards that will be given include Greek man/ woman of the year, advisor of the year, best recruitment program, outstanding campus G REEK C OUNCIL

Honor Society) is

currently very strong!

We meet every other

Friday and have

adopted the FDL

Habitat for Humanity

as our official

philanthropy. We have

plans for an upcoming

fundraiser to raise

funds for Habitat with

an event called “Nacho

average fundraiser” .

This will be a nacho
