CORK

The internal heel is made of natural cork able to isolate the foot and absorb moisture that forms inside footwear to ensure maximum comfort and well-being of the foot.

NATURAL RUBBER

The soles of all Emanuela shoes are made by the company starting from natural rubber from environmentally sustainable plantations without using any synthetic chemicals and petroleum products.

HANDMADE

The uppers are cut and sewn by hand with the craftsmanship for which our products have stood out for over 50 years.

NO ADHESIVES, RESINS AND SOLVENTS

The natural rubber sole is applied to the upper through the hot vulcanisation process without using adhesives, resins or solvents.

The Emanuela footwear factory was set up at the end of the Sixties in a craftsman’s workshop in the historical centre of Bagnacavallo, a small village in the province of Ravenna.

Over the years, Emanuela shoes have become synonymous with comfort, quality and wide usability, guaranteed by the strong craftsmanship factor involved in all stages of the production chain:

each product is handmade with traditional techniques and only using natural raw materials.

Today Emanuela keeps on developing new products that share the same philosophy that has as its main aim to improve the comfort and well-being of our customers’ feet.

To ensure the well-being of your feet, we have designed and made a product by only using natural materials. All the components used to produce the footwear are natural materials such as sheared wool, cotton, cork, felt and rubber.

The bottom of the shoe consists of a casing made from natural black vulcanised rubber; the sole is made with a resistant outsole also made from light-coloured natural rubber that does not leave any marks on the floor.

Inside the casing, which forms the bottom of the shoe, there is a felt midsole that allows for natural transpiration and a healthy and optimal temperature; there is also a cork heel.

ASOLE

Cool and comfortable made with cotton surface.

bMIDSOLE

Made with vegetable fibre felt and applied over the cork heel.

cBOTTOM

Applied to the shoe through the vulcanisation process without the use of adhesives, resins or solvents.
