Spring is in the Air... We have had an awesome winter! The students have learned a ton in their classes and MUSE Dance Company visited us, providing lots of inspiration and lessons that will last until the next time they come! Spring fever is on the rise and it is time to give these kids a bit of a break! We will not hold regularly scheduled classes next week, March 23rd through March 27th. We will however be providing mandatory practices for all competition groups. There will be no tuition adjustments for the week of Spring Break. There is one week of class prior to our spring showcase in June, free of charge for all students. This will even things out. Competition practice times over the break are

Coming Up Quick...I have outlined the upcoming events in the column to your

left. Reminder: If you haven't tried on your costumes yet, the time has come. Size exchanges will only be available to us through our costume company for a limited time. Some costumes have not come in yet. These are posted in the hallway and are listed on the Costume Price List as TBA. Student Choreography Contest has been re-scheduled to April 3rd to allow students more prep time. This is going to be a lot of fun, so please check out the sign up sheet in the hall and I will also be sending home an informational note concerning the rules and guidelines of the contest. We have our first competition coming up on the second week in April. Please let me know if you would like time and location details so that you can come and support your dance school! Our Slumber party will be held on April, 24th. I will be posting a sign up sheet in the hall soon so that I can get a head count. More details coming in April concerning the sleepover. I will also be posting a sign up sheet for Blossom Parade in the hallway. We will need student and parent float riders, as well as additional volunteers, so please sign up if you can help out. Participants may be required to purchase a B. Box shirt and/or other apparel item to participate. I will be selecting a handful of dances to perform in the park on Sunday Funday of Blossom weekend as well. This is a great opportunity for our students to get in a practice performance before our Spring showcase on Saturday, June 6th. I will send a note home about Sunday Funday dances near the beginning of April. We will hold group photos for each dance near the show date. I am still working on those details with CTM Photography. We will also hold our first annual B. Bash Saturday, June 13th, in celebration of our year and all of our students accomplishments! Special awards and recognitions will be made at this time, but mostly it will be a huge party! Wow. That was a mouthful. I promise to keep the information coming and as always, I thank you so much for your time and dedication to your children and our Dance School. I'm loving every minute with them!
