Your Image Consultant
• As a qualified Image Consultant I can give my clients the correct advice to enhance their best features through the use of colors, make-up, clothing and grooming. They help them to discover their appropriate 'look' and adapt their appearance to make the best of their features. This is done through an analysis process which ensures that the consultant will remain relevant and objective. People tend to give advice according to what fashion they like or follow, and this is not necessarily the best route for the client. It is essential that consultants evaluate the needs of the client and then ensure that this is in line with their personal style expression and lifestyle.

In addition to consulting with clients myself, I can develop a network of strategic partners to refer clients to, such as hair stylists, makeup artists, dieticians, dentists,
personal trainers, plastic surgeons, and voice coaches. As an image consultant I may decide to assist anyone who wants image consulting services, or choose to specialize in working with particular types of clients, such as:
Women who want a new lookJob-seekers
Corporate executivesBeauty pageant contestants
Lawyers and their clientsCancer survivors
Television personalitiesSpouses of recently promoted executives
Transgender individualsPoliticians

Let’s talk about Style…
Style is not about beauty, age, size, wealth or even fashion! It’s about knowing and respecting yourself for who you are and having the confidence to discover and project your unique image in a consistent and confident manner.

93% of a first impression is made before you say one word. Image Consulting helps you make that impression a success through your own unique style rather than conforming to a particular look.

So what is image?
Image is a person’s total perception of you. It is more than just dressing for style; image runs deep and includes verbal and non-verbal communication as well as appearance. With respect to appearance, image involves how we look and how we handle ourselves. It involves qualities like confidence and self-esteem. Whether we like it or not, the message we send to others is a direct reflection of the image we portray. You should never leave home unless you are certain that your appearance reflects the kind of image you wish to project. The reality is that people form opinions and make assumptions based on how we look and how we portray ourselves.

• When you feel good about your image, that feeling is conveyed to others. Your appearance speaks both to you and to others. Make sure it says, “Here is a person who has self-respect. He is important, so treat him that way.“ As the saying goes: as a man thinks in his heart, so will he be. If your appearance makes you think small, you will be small. If your appearance makes you think you are inferior, you will be inferior. Look your best and you will think and act your best. Remember, you communicate a lot without saying a word.
• Some people argue that a person’s dress is unimportant. Some say that clothing does not make a difference, and that such thinking is the product of inferior or narrow minds. Maybe that is true for those who have arrived at the pinnacle of their careers, but most of us are still trying to get there.
Remember, perceived value is everything, and your appearance is the first basis for evaluation. You only get one chance to make a first impression, so make sure it speaks well of you. Please, respect your appearance and, as I always say, “Let Your Image Make the Statement!“

Your Company's objective in establishing a business casual dress code, is to allow the employees to work comfortably in the workplace. Yet, they still need the employees to project a professional image for our customers, potential employees, and community visitors. Business casual dress is the standard for this dress code.Because all casual clothing is not suitable for the office, these guidelines will help you determine what is appropriate to wear to work. Clothing that works well for the beach, yard work, dance clubs, exercise sessions, and sports contests may not be appropriate for a professional appearance at work.

Clothing that reveals too much cleavage, your back, your chest, your feet, your
stomach or your underwear is not appropriate for a place of business, even
in a business casual setting.Even in a business casual work
environment, clothing should be pressed and never wrinkled. Torn, dirty, or frayed clothing is unacceptable. All seams must be finished. Any clothing that has words, terms, or pictures that may be offensive
to other employees is unacceptable. Clothing that has the company logo is encouraged. Sports team, university,
and fashion brand names on clothing are generally acceptable.
Certain days can be declared dress down days, generally Fridays. On these days,
jeans and other more casual clothing, although never clothing potentially
offensive to others, are allowed.

This group of employees showcases a relaxed business casual dress code. Their button-down shirts are universally a great choice for a business casual environment. Even though the dress code is casual, their shirts are still not wrinkled or dirty. Instead, their shirts are well maintained and look nice while still upholding a relaxed vibe. As you can see from this picture, ties aren't necessary in a business casual workplace, and full suits are generally too formal for a business casual office. This is a good example of appropriate business casual dressing for men and women.

This is a good business casual option for a man. This option still upholds a professional image, but is successful at being a more relaxed outfit without looking like everyday street wear. A dress shirt and tie still looks nice, for example, but a full suit isn't necessary in a business casual environment. ~ www.jjill.com

This is a great example of a business casual outfit for women. A well-fitting, attractive blouse paired with slacks and finished with conservative but stylish heels still conveys the idea of business casual, without compromising professionalism. Her blouse is modest and sets a professional tone for the office. It does not have a plunging neckline, does not reveal her midriff, and does not contain words, slogans, or pictures that could offend her co-workers. This is a great example of a business casual outfit for women. Her woman's pants look nice without being too form-fitting, and they aren't too casual like denim, spandex, or sweatpants might be.
She finishes her outfit with a great choice of conservative shoes. In a business casual office, athletic shoes and sneakers, loafers, clogs, leather boat shoes, and dress heels are acceptable. In warm weather, stockings aren't necessary for women. However, flip flops, sandals, slippers, or open-toed shoes are not appropriate for the workplace. Also, if you are a fan of footwear that is flashy and eye-catching, they should be worn on the street - not in the office. Even though the guidelines of a business casual environment can be somewhat lax at times, looking professional and conservative at all times is important. ~ Justin Horrocks

Try a fresh, new eye popping shade ofsaturated color for your eye shadow. Perfectly primed skin is in, along with bold, bright lips. Skin should have a natural glow. This can be achieved by adding a touch
of tinted moisturizer.
Pick up a pair of brightly colored pants and tone it down with a softer splash of color on the top. Add
some fun colored flats or menswear inspired oxfords. Mix two or three colors together in an outfit. Primary colors work well together as well as pairing two warm
colors with one cool color.

Yellow Maybe???How do you wear yellow?...
Cheerful and bright, yellow is one of the top colors this season. For many people, yellow can be a tricky color to pull off, especially if it isn’t one of your best colors. Here are a few tips to make yellow work for you. If it’s not one of your best colors, be sure it isn’t up by your face. Try instead, to add a pop of yellow with a stack of bracelets, a watch, a handbag, fun shoes or with a thin belt.
Another trick is to select a print, in YOUR COLORS that includes a tiny bit of yellow, just be sure your colors are the dominant colors and the yellow is simply used as an accent.

You can also wear yellow on the lower half of your
body with pants, skirts and shorts, just make sure
one of your BEST colors is on your upper half.
Also remember that gold is in the yellow
family so pull out your gold jewelry this season and
add some spice and pizzazz to your wardrobe.
Don’t be afraid of color, embrace it. T
his
season is all about bright, vivid shades; all you have
to do is wear YOUR SHADE of bright colors. If
you aren’t quite sure, give us a call. We can help!
