So much has been prepared and organised for what will be a wonderful event. Along with School Council, I am so grateful for the amount of work done behind the scenes by the parents involved in the Spring Fair Committee. I encourage everyone in our school community to get behind the Spring Fair and do what you can to help us make the day hugely successful, as in previous years. The support we receive from people beforehand as well as on the day is invaluable! A successful day will result not only in a happy community but in much improved resources for our wonderful school! Our students will benefit from and appreciate the fans and heating in our gym as well as the outdoor kitchen we intend to construct. So, let’s get behind the event and make it a day to remember!! You could be dancing, singing, playing an instrument, performing a magic act, or a comedy act…it's up to you!!! You be the star of our very own Warranwood’s Got Talent Show at the 2017 Spring Fair! the 2017 Managers Information Form at back of this newsletter
• You can submit your music to the school office by Friday 3rd November, clearly labelled with the act name and the name(s) of the star(s) in the act! You may provide music on CD or USB

Money for Jam This year we have introduced a Preserves Stall as one of our class stalls and we are excited to say that five batches of orange marmalade have already been made and taste tested of course! We were very fortunate to receive donations of oranges from our local Farmers Market and from Terri McKinnon's parents place in Rutherglen. Thank you for your support. Our recent "Fruity Friday" was also a great success with a wide variety of “two-legged fruit” seen throughout the school. Well done everyone for your enthusiasm and help in raising over $400. The money will be used to purchase items for the Preserve making. We would especially like to say thank you to Whole Food Merchants in Ferntree Gully for their very generous donation of the wonderful Organic fruit for the children to eat on Fruity Friday.
