Presented by the Barrington Jazz Ensemble (TriceAtchison, Peter Coombs, RichardEvans, TedMurray, Sam Rosen, and Roger Suters), this course will cover the jazzsongbook,evolutionoftherhythmsthatcharacterizejazz,andthecomplexrelationshipbetweenjazzandcomposedmusicinthe20thcentury.
