The Diwali celebrations started with Lakshmi Pooja. All gathered for the
day and Mrs. Renuka explained about the significance of Diwali festival.
Adnan Khan of grade 8 spoke about the scientific reason behind Diwali.
The day ended with our cute little Disney’s dance performance.

The Annual Arts and Science Fair was conducted in the school on Oct 21st ,
2017. Children have come up with their creative and innovative ideas and
prepared various science projects under the guidance often teachers. The
parents and the visitors applauded the young geniuses and their presentation.

We celebrated 142nd birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhai Patel as
“Rashtriya Ekta Diwas” in the school campus as a mark of tribute to the first
Home Minister of India. The day was celebrated to give the message to
students about cleanliness, unity, integrity and security of the country.

BIRTH ANNIVERSARY OF SARDAR VALLABHAI PATEL
CULTURAL AND LITERARY FESTIVAL
In order to provide opportunity to children to discover their potential, we have
conducted cultural and literary fest in our campus from Nov 7th, 2017 to Nov
14th, 2017. Various inter-house competitions such as hand-writing, recitation,
and solo-singing, story-telling were conducted during the fest.

We celebrated children’s day on Nov 14th, 2017 in the campus. Children
were dressed in their best, bringing a festive look to the school. On the
occasion, different games were conducted for nursery and pre-primary
kids. High school students performed on different art forms.

SBA celebrated International Maths Day to commemorate the birth
anniversary of the famous mathematician Sri Srinivasa Ramanujan.
Several activities and competitions were conducted during the event and
the students participated in the programmes with great zeal.

The essence of Christmas came alive at SBA, Puttur where the students and
teachers got together and shared the merriment. The delightful celebrations
included various performances. The day ended with memorable moments.

Students and Teachers celebrated Sankranthi, the festival of harvest with
great enthusiasm. We created a village atmosphere by constructing huts
and well and it was decorated with colourful rangoli, kites and hangings.
The most eye-catching feature of Bhogi, Sankranthi and Kanuma was
created for children to understand our tradition. Children were dressed in
traditional attire. The celebrations reflected village atmosphere.

Vasanth Panchami is dedicated to Goddess Saraswathi the goddess of
knowledge, music, arts, science and technology. On this auspicious day,
a special pooja was offered to Goddess Saraswathi

AMMAKU VANDHANAM
Annual Sports Day is an important event that helps students in showcasing
their sport skills. Sports themselves have a vital role in making a child
sound, both physically and mentally. Annual Sports Day was held on 25th
Jan 2018. The children who won in different events were given medals.

Republic Day was celebrated by the staff and students of SBA with patriotic
fervor. The chief guest instilled the patriotism and a sense of being
responsible citizens in the students through his inspirational words.
