Keep your eyes and ears peeled in your front and backyards! Once you find one of the birds, mark it off on your bingo sheet. The first person to mark off all the birds in the correct pattern (see the next page, or make up your own) calls BINGO (in their best bird voice of course)! Robins singing in the morning, a dragonfly buzzing by in the afternoon, an owl hooting in the
evening. Our world is full of sound, and this activity will help you discover how the world changes its tune throughout the day! Try doing this activity in the morning, afternoon, and evening. Find a nice place to sit outside. The circle represents the SPACE around you while the dot in the center represents YOU. Draw some landmarks you see around you inside the circle. Sit for as long as you’d like (10-15 minutes is a great starting point) and either write or draw all the sounds you hear around you during that time (even the neighbors barking dog).
