Welcome to Sonoma State University's School of Extended and International Education!

As the recent election suggests, change comes quickly and in many forms. Sometimes we also want a career change or enhancement. Our certificate and non-degree courses provide a beginning to such change. These courses and programs provide continuing education to many professions and professionals, deliver critical needs for businesses enhancing their current workforce and give opportunities for professionals to remain competitive in fields such as education, human resources and construction.

We have a variety of craft beer classes, hosted by Lagunitas, and we offer classes on wine business and management. For those more musically inclined we have our audio and recording production certificate. All our classes involve community partnerships, on and off campus. These partnerships include our outstanding staff, faculty, and community members with a single focus: the student (you!). Our theme is to provide access and partnership for lifelong learning in the North Bay and beyond. If you are thinking of a career change or life enhancementor bothplease take a class or two!
