The conceptA motor feeds out a high volume of air (HV) and enables products to be sprayed at a low pressure (LP). The air hose feeds the air produced by themotor to the spray gun. The solution is released from the fluid tip of the spray gun at a very low pressure and is enclosed in a high volume of air.

The powerful motor can spray a wide range of solutions with or without dilution. However, there will always be some which will not be suitable forthe spray gun. Good quality paint contains a high percentage of solids which make the dilution easier. The users must keep in mind that low temperatures make the paint thicker, that’s why we recommend spraying with the Spray Gun at a 15°C minimum temperature.

INTRODUCTION

• Carefully cover areas which are not to be painted with a plastic cover and protective tape.• Wear a suitable mask when spraying products (and make sure there is adequate ventilation in the room when working indoors).• Clean the surface you are going to paint. As well as being clean, it must also be dry and smooth.• Practice first on some old wooden planks to make sure you are holding the Spray Gun correctly.• We recommend you wear protective clothing.• For a better finish always stir your coating. Use of a paint stirrer/ mixer/ paddle is recommended.• Make sure there are no solid particles in the paint.• Many products can be sprayed without being thinned. However, if the application is not good, thin the product progressively in stages of 5%.• Most paints can be sprayed by being thinned just a little, e.g. by 5% or 10%.• Some thick paints such as outer wall paints and certain undercoats will need to be thinned by 20% or 25%.• Use water to thin a water-based product.• Use appropriate thinners to thin solvent-based products. • Certain manufacturers will indicate on the can whether a specific thinner is to be used.• Certain paint manufacturers have specific paints available for HVLP application.

Your Spray Station is a powerful and versatile solution and is compatible with different sizes of Needles and Fluid Tips:

• The smaller Needles and Fluid Tips are the most commonly used size for decorative paints.

• The larger Needles and Fluid Tips, which can be easily assembled to the Spray Gun with the Needle and Fluid Tip Tool (1), are for thick paints such as undercoats and smooth masonry paints.

There are other optional Needle and Fluid Tip sizes available to purchase for more specific applications.

• Fill the Paint Container (12) with the product to be sprayed. Stir well (as mentioned previously) and strain to remove any bits which will interfere with a smooth consistent spray.

• Make sure the Paint Container Seal (10) and Pick-Up Tube (11) are firmly fitted into the base of the Spray Gun. • Screw the Paint Container (12) to the base of the Spray Gun and tighten accordingly.• Start with the Paint Flow Adjuster (9) at its minimum setting so the trigger cannot be pulled. Do not forget that the Paint Flow Adjuster (9) controls the quantity of paint sprayed (Fig.5).

• Uncoil the Air Hose (13) and attach it to the back of the Spray Gun and the other end to the Spray Station.• Uncoil the supply cord and attach the plug to the mains supply socket-outlet.• Switch the Spray Station on. This will immediately cause some air to be produced, which is quite NORMAL. However, none of the product will be

sprayed until the Spray Gun trigger is pulled.• VERY IMPORTANT! When spraying for the first time, we recommend running the motor for 1 to 2 minutes before applying the product. Do notforget the Paint Flow Adjuster (9) controls the quantity of paint sprayed (Fig.5).

ALWAYS MAKE SURE THAT THE MOTOR UNIT IS ON A RIGID AND LEVEL SURFACE AND FREE FROM DUST.

The most commonly used technique for painting a large surface is the ‘criss-cross’ technique, i.e. you apply the product in horizontal strips and thencross over these strips by applying the product in vertical strips (Fig.4).

1) To achieve a horizontal strip adjust the Spray Direction Plate (4) to the vertical position then pull the trigger and move your arm from side-to-side.

2) When you get to the end of the line, release the trigger for a moment and then apply the product in the opposite direction just beneath the line you have sprayed.

3) Next, to achieve a vertical strip adjust the Spray Direction Plate (4) to the horizontal position then pull the trigger and move your arm up and down over the horizontal strips you have just sprayed.

Through gradual movement of the Spray Direction Plate (4) between Horizontal, Vertical and Round spray pattern settings you can vary the width ofthe spray pattern (Fig.4).

HINT: To obtain the best results always keep your Spray Gun level and at an equal distance from the object you are spraying, ideally 25-30cm (10“-12”) (Fig.6/7). Let your arm control the movement rather than your wrist (Fig.6/7). This will help give you an even paint distribution.

HINT: HVLP technology produces warm air through the Air Cap (3) allowing the paint to dry quicker which can enhance the final effect.

HINT: For ceilings and floors make sure the Pick-Up Tube (11) is properly oriented towards the handle of the Spray Gun.

through with warm soapy water and then with cold water.• Remove the Paint Container (12).• Pour any leftover paint into its own container so that it can be used for the future. Pull the trigger to allow paint to run out of the Pick-Up Tube (11).• Pour a quantity of the respective thinners into the Paint Container (12), shake the Spray Gun lightly, reassemble the Spray Gun, then spray this

liquid through the Spray Gun. Repeat this until the thinners being sprayed is coming through with no traces of paint.• Clean any traces of paint off the outside of the Spray Gun.• Clean the Paint Container Seal (10).

• Unscrew Air Cap Ring (2).• Remove Air Cap (3).• Remove Spray Direction Plate (4).• Using Needle and Fluid Tip Tool - pincer end A (1) remove Fluid Tip (5).• Insert Needle and Fluid Tip end B (1) into the inner tube and unscrew the Fluid Needle (7) anticlockwise, then pull to release.• Place all of these items into a container and clean using a brush and the respective thinners.• Clean the inside of the body of the Spray Gun.• Thoroughly dry all parts before reassembling.• Reassemble parts in reverse order (to facilitate assembly of the Fluid Tip (5), pull the trigger back).• Ensure the Air Cap Ring (2) is fully tightened and the Fluid Tip (5) is pushed into place so that the Fluid Needle (7) will shut off.

Note: Ensure the Spray Direction Plate (4) is free to move. If necessary loosen the Air Cap Ring (2) slightly.• NEVER DISPOSE OF PAINTS OR SOLVENTS DOWN THE DRAIN. ALWAYS USE YOUR LOCAL WASTE COLLECTION SITE.• The motor unit itself does not require any specific maintenance apart from checking that the Filter (14) is not clogged up (the filter can be

removed and washed). The Filter (14) can be found at the cord entry face.

IMPORTANT: Each Fluid Needle (7) is manufactured to fit the size of the corresponding Fluid Tip (5). Do not try to fit a 2.0 mm fluid needle to a 3.0 mm fluid tip.

KonsepSebuah motor mengumpankan udara volume tinggi (HV, high volume) dan memungkinkan produk disemprotkan pada tekanan rendah (LP, low pressure). Selang Udaramengumpankan udara yang dihasilkan oleh motor ke Pistol Semprot. Larutan dilepaskan dari Pucuk Fluida Pistol Semprot pada tekanan yang sangat rendah danterkurung dalam udara bervolume tinggi. Motor yang kuat dapat menyemprotkan berbagai larutan dengan atau tanpa pengenceran. Namun, akan selalu ada bahan yang tidak cocok untuk Pistol Semprot.Cat kualitas baik mengandung zat padat dengan kadar tinggi yang membuat pengenceran lebih mudah. Pengguna harus mengingat bahwa suhu rendah akan membuatcat lebih pekat, itulah alasan kami menyarankan penyemprotan dengan Pistol Semprot pada suhu minimum 15°C.

• Tutup dengan hati-hati bidang yang tidak ingin dicat dengan tutup plastik dan pita pelindung.• Kenakan masker yang cocok saat menyemprotkan produk (dan pastikan ada ventilasi yang memadai di ruangan jika bekerja di dalam ruangan).• Bersihkan permukaan yang akan dicat. Selain bersih, permukaan juga harus kering dan mulus.• Coba dulu di potongan kayu tua untuk memastikan bahwa cara memegang Pistol Semprot sudah benar.• Kami sarankan agar pakaian pelindung dikenakan.• Aduk cat secara merata dengan Pengaduk Cat.• Pastikan tidak ada partikel padat di dalam cat.• Banyak produk dapat disemprotkan tanpa harus diencerkan. Mesin Semprot ini adalah sebuah solusi yang kuat dan serbaguna, serta serasi dengan berbagai ukuran Jarum dan Pucuk Fluida:

• Jarum dan Pucuk Fluida kecil adalah ukuran paling lazim digunakan untuk cat hias (dekoratif).

• Jarum dan Pucuk Fluida ukuran besar, yang mudah dirakitkan ke Pistol Semprot dengan Alat Jarum dan Pucuk Fluida (1), cocok untuk cat kental seperti pelapis dasar dan cat tembok halus.

• Isi Wadah Cat (12) dengan produk yang akan disemprotkan. Aduk merata (seperti yang telah disebutkan) dan saring untuk menyingkirkan kepingan apa pun yang akan mengganggu semprotan yang mulus dan konsisten.

• Pastikan bahwa Segel Wadah Cat (10) dan Pipa Pengambil (11) terpasang dengan kukuh ke landasan Pistol Semprot. • Sekrupkan Wadah Cat (12) ke landasan Pistol Semprot, lalu kencangkan secukupnya.• Mulai dengan Pengatur Aliran Cat (9) pada setelan minimum sehingga Pemicu tidak dapat ditarik. Jangan lupa bahwa Pengatur Aliran Cat (9) mengendalikan jumlah cat yang disemprotkan (Gb. 5).

• Urai gulungan Selang Udara (13), lalu sambungkan satu ujung ke bagian belakang Pistol Semprot dan ujung lain ke Mesin Semprot.• Urai kabel daya dan colokkan steker ke catu daya.• Hidupkan Mesin Semprot. Hal ini akan seketika menyebabkan berembusnya sedikit udara, yang sangat NORMAL. Namun, tidak satu produk pun akan tersemprot hingga Pemicu Pistol Semprot ditarik.

• SANGAT PENTING: Saat menyemprot untuk kali pertama, kami sarankan agar unit motor selalu dibiarkan bekerja selama 1 hingga 2 menit sebelum menyemprotkan produk. Jangan lupa bahwa Pengatur Aliran Cat (9) mengendalikan jumlah cat yang disemprotkan (Gb. 5).

SELALU PASTIKAN BAHWA UNIT MOTOR HIDUP PADA SUATU PERMUKAAN DATAR YANG KAKU DAN BEBAS DEBU.

Teknik yang paling umum digunakan untuk mengecat permukaan besar adalah teknik ‘saling-silang’, yakni, membalurkan produk dalam setrip-setrip horizontal, lalu menyilangnya dengan membalurkan produk dalam setrip-setrip vertikal (Gb. 4).

1) Untuk menghasilkan sebuah setrip horizontal, setel Pelat Arah Semprot (4) ke posisi vertikal, lalu tarik Pemicu dan gerakkan lengan. melintas ke kanan.

2) Setelah sampai ke akhir garis, lepas Pemicu sejenak, lalu balurkan produk ke arah berlawanan. tepat di bawah garis yang baru saja disemprotkan.

3) Untuk menghasilkan sebuah setrip vertikal, setel Pelat Arah Semprot (4) ke posisi horizontal, lalu tarik Pemicu dan gerakkan lengan naik dan turun di atas setrip horizontal yang baru saja disemprotkan.

Dengan gerakan berangsur Pelat Arah Semprot (4) di antara setelan pola semprot horizontal, vertikal, dan bundar, Anda bisa mengubah-ubah lebarpola semprot (Gb. 5).

PETUNJUK: Untuk memperoleh hasil terbaik, jaga selalu Pistol Semprot tetap datar dan pada jarak yang sama dari benda yang sedang Anda semprot, idealnya 25-30 cm (Gb. 6/7). Alih-alih pergelangan tangan, biarkan lengan mengendalikan gerakan (Gb. 6/7). Hal ini akan membantu menghasilkan sebaran cat yang merata.

PETUNJUK: Teknologi HVLP menghasilkan udara hangat melalui Kap Udara (3) sehingga memungkinkan cat kering lebih cepat yang dapat menyempurnakan hasil akhir.

PETUNJUK: Untuk langit-langit dan lantai, pastikan bahwa Pipa Pengambil (11) terarah dengan benar ke gagang Pistol Semprot.

PETUNJUK: Operasi pembersihan dapat memakan waktu kurang dari 5 menit. Jika Anda ingin beristirahat, letakkan Pistol Semprot di sebuah kantong plastik untuk mencegah cat dari mengering.

PETUNJUK: Jangan biarkan tiner atau cat berlama-lama di dalam Pistol Semprot ketika sedang tidak menyemprot. Begitu selesai dibersihkan dengan tiner yang tepat, bilas bersih-bersih dengan air hangat bersabun, lalu dengan air dingin.

• Lepas Wadah Cat (12).• Tuangkan semua sisa cat ke dalam wadahnya sendiri sehingga dapat digunakan lagi nanti. Tarik pemicu untuk membiarkan cat keluar dari Pipa

Pengambil (11).• Tuangkan sejumlah tiner yang cocok ke dalam Wadah Cat (12), goyang-goyangkan Pistol Semprot dengan lembut, rakit kembali pistol, lalu

semprotkan cairan ini melalui Pistol Semprot. Ulangi langkah ini hingga tiner tersemprot keluar tanpa sisa cat.• Bersihkan setiap bekas cat dari sisi luar Pistol Semprot.• Bersihkan Segel Wadah Cat (10).

• Longgarkan Cincin Kap Udara (2).• Lepas Kap Udara (3).• Lepas Pelat Arah Semprot (4).• Dengan ujung cengkam A Alat Jarum dan Pucuk Fluida (1), lepas Pucuk Fluida (5).• Masukkan ujung B (1) dari Alat Jarum dan Pucuk Fluida ke pipa sisi dalam dan longgarkan Jarum Fluida (7) melawan arah jarum jam, lalu tarik

untuk melepas jarum.• Tempatkan semua benda ini ke sebuah wadah, lalu bersihkan dengan sikat dan tiner yang cocok.• Bersihkan sisi dalam bodi Pistol Semprot.• Keringkan sampai tuntas semua komponen sebelum dirakit kembali.• Rakit kembali segenap komponen dengan urutan terbalik (untuk memudahkan rakitan Pucuk Fluida (5), tarik pemicu).• Pastikan bahwa Cincin Kap Udara (2) dikencangkan sepenuhnya dan Pucuk Fluida (5) didorong ke tempatnya sehingga Jarum Fluida (7) akan tertutup.

Catatan: Pastikan bahwa Pelat Arah Semprot (4) bebas bergerak. Jika perlu, longgarkan sedikit Cincin Kap Udara (2).• JANGAN PERNAH BUANG CAT ATAU BAHAN PELARUT KE PARIT. SELALU GUNAKAN LOKASI PENGUMPULAN SAMPAH SETEMPAT.• Unit motornya sendiri tidak memerlukan pemeliharaan khusus selain memeriksa bahwa filter (14) tidak tersumbat (filter dapat

dilepas dan dicuci). Filter (14) dapat ditemukan di tali entri wajah.

PENTING: Setiap Jarum Fluida (7) diproduksi agar cocok dengan ukuran Pucuk Fluida (5) pasangannya. Jangan coba memasangkan Jarum Fluida2,0 mm ke Pucuk Fluida 3,0 mm.
