March 13th through the 17th is Appreciation Week for all of our support staff and our District is fortunate to have a great team of educational support professionals who are dedicated to helping our district succeed. These individuals are valued for the outstanding job that they do each and every day. Their roles range from maintenance, custodial, food service and office staff to those who work in the classrooms providing an extra set of hands for our teachers and students. Drivers Ed- Adna High School is offering a traffic safety
education course this coming spring. The 2017 course will begin in May and continue through June. Class time is from 7:00am to 8:00am, Monday thru Friday. A minimum of 25 students is need-ed to offer the course. Students turning 15 years old before May 1st are eligible to register. Registration is online and the cost is $420.00. Congratulations to our Knowledge Bowl Team for qualifying to complete at the
state finals on March 18th at Arlington High School in Arlington, WA.
Knowledge Bowl is a sport for the mind. Setup like Jeopardy but for teams, Knowledge Bowl involves fast-paced thinking and teamwork. Questions are based on the topics covered in high school, such as math, science, history, language skills, literature, mu-
sic, and geography, plus things like current events.

Donations for the auction need to be dropped off at the school by Wednesday March 16, 2017.
Checks for donations need to be made to “Adna Scholarship Foundation” or “ASF” with “In
memory of” or fund name on the memo line.
The Auction will be celebrating 28 years at this year’s dinner on March 18, 2017.
To start a new memorial fund you need to first contact the foundation at 360-219-5251.
Dinner Auction Best Dressed Table Contest
Back by popular demand, the ASF committee will vote on and award a prize to the best decorated table. So start gathering those creative ideas that will complement this year’s “Blast Off To Success” theme. Tickets are available to pick up at all the district offices. For additional information please

Adna Scholarship Application
Did you know that ASF doesn't award out scholarships just to college bound students? We also award scholarships for vocational training and apprentice-
ships.
This year's scholarship application for graduating Adna seniors will become available on March 1, 2017. The application will be posted on the Adna Mid-
dle/High School website.
