In an effort to make this catalog as user friendly as possible, the specifications for each casehave been included in this catalog with each model number. Americase offers over 140 standardmodels that are tailored to fit a diverse set of firearms, or combination of firearms and accessories.To ease the selection process, these products are listed in categories, which are marked by the titleat the top of each page and by the colored tabs on the side of each page. This catalog featuresfour product lines offered by Americase, which are summarized in the following five pages. It isimportant to know some of the differences and limitations of each product line when comparingproducts, and especially when contemplating the design of a custom case.

The specifications given for each case include the exterior case dimensions and the interiordimensions of each compartment. For instance, the maximum barrel and stock compartmentmeasurements are given for all velvet shotgun cases to ensure that your equipment will fit insidethese measurements. If it does not, a different model or a custom-built case will accommodate yourneeds. Standard Americase models are designed to fit the standard range of gun sizes. Actualcompartment sizes will vary, but should not be less than the specified size. Remember thatAmericase specializes in custom cases as well, so don’t be deterred if you can’t find what you need.

“Can I fly with my Americase?” Yes, these cases are designed with the airlines in mind. You should,however, expect minor scratches and dents. Any damaged hardware can easily be replaced.“Is my Americase unbreakable?” No, occasionally shippers subject them to unreasonable stresses (i.e.run over or through by a forklift, dropped from an unreasonable height, etc...).“Is my Americase covered by warranty?” Yes, but do not confuse insurance claims with warranty claims.Please see back cover for warranty information.“Are the locks tamper proof?” Within reason, we use the finest hardware available. If a thief wantswhat's in the case, they could simply take the entire case. “Is an Americase waterproof?” They are not submergible, but extremely resistant to rain.“Will the interior of my case always remain dry?” Unfortunately steel guns tend to produce slightcondensation when changing temperatures. However, normal care of your gun should prevent damage.“If I have a special situation, can I get a custom case?” Americase specializes in quality service for allof your case needs. Custom fabrication is available for practically any situation. “How many guns can I fly with?” It varies per carrier. Contact your airline about any restrictions andother policies they may have regarding traveling with firearms.

Americase Premium is one of the most indestructible cases on the market. Itsframe design, wall construction, hardware, and craftsmanship make this caseboth attractive and long lasting. As with all Americase products, AmericasePremium utilizes the finest hardware available, including full-length industrialpiano-type hinges. Premium cases are easily adaptable and can be built toalmost any length or width. Also, by combining different sizes of top and bottomprofiles, an outside depth dimension of 3 1/2”, 4 1/2”, 5”, 6 1/2”, 8”, or 9 1/2” canbe obtained. The anodized aluminum extrusions are mitered, joined together withaluminum angle inserts, and then internally welded. This sturdy frame is builtaround Phenolic Resin Composition and Duron side panels, giving these casessuperior resistance to warping and dents. The vinyl seal in the bottom valance(see cross section) locks the top and bottom together when the case is latched,sealing out dust and resisting water. Custom interiors and sizes are available.

Ameri-Lite is an anodized, all-aluminum case which utilizes an extrudedframe that is formed to give the case rounded corners. A continuous bumper onall sides protects the case as well as the surface on which it rests. These casesare fitted with the same heavy-duty hardware as Americase Premium cases, butwithout the combination lock. The sleek looks and lighter weight of Ameri-Litemake it a good choice for many applications. By combining different sizes oftop and bottom profiles, an outside depth dimension of 3 1/2”, 5”, 6 1/2”, or 91/2” can be obtained. Ameri-Lite is available in about twenty stock sizes withvarious interiors, or can be built to your specifications on quantity orders. Thevinyl seal in the bottom valance (see cross section) locks the top and bottomtogether when the case is latched, providing an extremely durable product.

Recessed HardwareRecessed hardware (shown below) streamlines the case and helps prevent the

handles and latches from snagging other objects, reducing the chance of damagingthe case hardware or other objects. Industrial strength twist cam-latches andspring-loaded handles are standard on all Aluma-Trans products.

Improved GasketThe Santoprene Gasket System was designed with protection in

mind. Its extra thickness makes a more complete seal for the entirelife of the case. Most importantly, it was designed to cover thesharp edges of the lip (see cutaway), preventing the contents of thecase from ever touching the metal edges. The wrap-around featurewill hold the seal in place, even if the adhesive fails.

High Security Cylinder Key Lock SystemThe recessed cylinder lock uses a threaded shaft to secure the case tightly closed, maintaining tight closure even if the latches

are open. The threaded receiver is mounted internally in a manner that prevents tampering. This advanced construction makesthe case virtually impenetrable. This type of locking system is the most secure of any commercially manufactured carrying case.

ConstructionAluma-Trans cases are constructed of mill-finished aluminum sheets, available in .063” and

.080” thickness, which are cut to size and then TIG welded. This produces an extremely durablecase that is very lightweight. Aluma-Trans adds to the multitude of products manufactured byAmericase with its extreme versatility in custom design and sizes.

Quality ConstructionThe attractive exterior of Ameri-Flite consists of Phenolic

Resin Composition, Fiberglass, ABS polyethylene, orAluminum which is laminated to American-made plywood.The highest structural integrity is achieved by the use ofdouble tongue-and-grove valance and double-angle cornerextrusions (shown right). Ameri-Flite features aluminumextrusions of 6063 alloy, tempered to T5. As a result of thisunique design and construction, the shock of an impact isevenly distributed over the entire case rather than at thepoint of impact.

The Americase Safari Style Rifle cases are designed for maximum protection and functionality. The bottom of eachrifle compartment is contoured to fit the underneath side of the rifle (under the action and scope), supporting theheaviest part of the rifle, rather than just under the end of the barrel and stock. Americase Incorporated, hereby does grant and warrant all of its cases to be free from defects inmaterials and workmanship for a period of one year from the date of purchase. This warranty isgranted to the original purchaser only and is non-transferable.

In the event of a defect, the case will be repaired or replaced without charge at the discretion ofthe manufacturer. A case being returned to the factory must be shipped freight prepaid and wrappedor boxed sufficiently as to protect the case from any further damage while in transit.

This warranty does exclude exterior finish, normal wear, and any and all damages due to abuseor damages which might occur in the event that the case is used outside of its original design.

Please do not confuse the manufacturer’s warranty with a carrier’s liability. Carriers andairlines occasionally put containers in situations beyond reasonable care and handling. Ifdamage occurs during transportation, it is the owner’s responsibility to file a claim with thecarrier.

Repair parts and services are available for almost any type of damage. Your case may simplyneed a “tune-up” before going back into service for another ten years. You can benefit from this ser-vice at most major sporting conventions and clay target competitions, or year-round by contactingAmericase.
