Invitation to Sponsors Dear Potential Sponsor: It is with great pleasure and enthusiasm that Thompson Management Consulting, LLC (TMCLLC) invite you to become a valued corporate sponsor of the 6th Annual Entrepreneurship and Small Business Summit (ESBS 2019), which is scheduled on Thursday, May 9, 2019 during the celebration and observance of National Small Business Week. The theme for this year’s event is “Rediscover Your Competitive Advantage”. We seek value-added contributors with shared values to help BRAND this annual summit and invest ideas that will transform a vision into successful and sustainable programs for our Metro Atlanta small business owners, entrepreneurs, thought leaders, and innovative change makers. We identify companies for sponsorship who understand the importance of contributions made by our nation’s innovative and thriving small businesses. Furthermore, we are passionate to see such contributions continue to make America a global leader in building strong businesses and keeping Georgia as the number one state in which to do business. Entrepreneurs drive innovation, create jobs, and produce cutting-edge technology to keep businesses competitive. Many of the contributors we seek are not only major entities comprising Corporate Atlanta, but also, small businesses and organizations who understand the necessity for programs which are critical to the success and long-term sustainable growth of entrepreneurs. With your support and contribution, we are all stakeholders with a vested interest in making a positive impact on the 6th Annual Entrepreneurship and Small Business Summit in celebration of National Small Business Week 2019 and realizing its success. Finally, please view the benefits to sponsors on pages 9 – 12, and sponsorship levels on page 13. Kindly contact us with all your questions, comments, and feedback. We wish to continue playing a significant role in this entrepreneurship and start-up space, but also to provide value-added quality activities to benefit all who attend this annual event. About National Small Business Week In 1963, the President of the United States of America, John F. Kennedy, issued a proclamation for the celebration of National Small Business Week to honor the nation’s small business owners, entrepreneurs, and innovators. National Small Business Week has been celebrated each year since its inception in 1963, ten years following the establishment of the Small Business Administration (SBA), which was created by the Small Business Act on July 30, 1953. Each year the current U.S. President issues a proclamation for National Small Business Week, during which, SBA offices across the country plan and execute events for small business owners. Awards are presented to several businesses in recognition of the numerous achievements made by those small businesses. Several of the key awards are Small Business Person of the Year, Small Business Investment Company of the Year, Small Business Resource Partner of the Year, Small Business Exporter of the Year, Women’s Business Center of Excellence Award, and numerous others. Small businesses drive the U.S. economic engine and are credited with creating over 66% of all net jobs in America, providing employment to millions of individuals who spend their discretionary income to drive an economic engine which keeps our economy strong. We honor our small businesses for their viability and achievements, and also recognize them for their innovations and contributions to growing America’s global competitive advantage and creating jobs. Thompson Management Consulting, LLC’s annual Entrepreneurship and Small Business Summit plays a significant role each year in celebrating the achievements of our nation’s small businesses and providing a resource from which to leverage business to business (B2B) contacts, and the opportunity to participate in value-added workshops to build and grow long-term sustainable and solvent businesses. We value the relationships we are currently building with various Metro Atlanta area Chambers of Commerce, the Small Business Development Centers (SBDC’s), the Small Business Administration (SBA), Institute of Management Consultants (IMC-USA), S.C.O.R.E, Office of Economic Development, World Trade Center of Atlanta, banking and financial institutions, law firms, professional consultants, area business owners and entrepreneurs, and with local universities and colleges. We recognize that we are part of a vast ecosystem playing our individual role to increase the opportunity for Georgia to be a major state in which to do business.

Congratulations to our nation’s small business owners, entrepreneurs, and innovators who continue to grow America’s global competitiveness.

6th ANNUAL ENTREPRENEURSHIP & SMALL BUSINESS SUMMIT – ESBS 2019 www.b2bconference.net | [email protected] | 404-587-3949 SP Version 1.0 – Release 10/01/2018

The Entrepreneurship and Small Business Summit Model The 6th Annual Entrepreneurship and Small Business Summit (ESBS 2019), fast becoming a significant must-attend event during National Small Business Week, is scheduled for Thursday, May 9, 2019. A vision of Austin E. Thompson, Jr., and a signature professional business event of Thompson Management Consulting, LLC, the annual ESBS registers approximately 100-150 attendees and continues to grow. All activities below will be held at the George Busbee International Center (Building #700) at Gwinnett Technical College, 5150 Sugarloaf Parkway, Lawrenceville, GA 30043. We commence at 7:30AM with breakfast refreshments and networking, opening and welcome at 8:30AM with a morning keynote speaker, then begin the workshops at 9:00AM. A full catered lunch is served buffet style at 12:00PM (noon), and the B2B Expo is an all-day affair. Exhibitors enjoy having a full 8-hour day to engage the event’s audience. We conclude the event at 4:00PM. The following defines the ESBS model. NETWORKING

Networking occurs throughout the entire day, but we encourage all attendees to arrive for the 7:30 – 8:30AM breakfast networking session. There is nothing like building relationships and engaging fellow entrepreneurs over a hot cup of coffee and pastries, or fruit. There are other opportunities to network at lunch, while in workshops, and anytime during the day. The area offers lounge chairs and seating for quick chats and exchange of information in a comfortable atmosphere. WORKSHOPS

All Workshops are classroom style in format and have a duration of one hour. Facilitators have access to a computer, power point projector, screen, and full audio-visual aides to assist in the facilitation of their presentations. Facilitators only need to bring a flash drive on which their presentation is stored, but are

also advised to bring their own laptop as a contingency, if they wish. Workshops are interactive, with a Q&A to allow for the audience to ask questions. A feedback form is disseminated to all participants at the conclusion of each workshop and panel discussion to gather information and thoughts, which are used for planning all subsequent events, and to determine the impact of the speakers and content presented. PANELS

Panel discussions offer a unique opportunity for audiences to acquire more than one perspective on any given subject matter, than with a single workshop facilitator. Industry experts bring real-world lessons, ideas, solutions, and advice to an audience of entrepreneurs who engage with enthusiasm, curiosity, and critical questions. BUSINESS-TO-BUSINESS (B2B) EXPO

Another highlight of the ESBS is our B2B Expo featuring business vendors who exhibit their services and products in an open marketplace. Business owners register to promote financial services, digital marketing, law services, retail apparel, sports and fitness training, technology (I.T.) services, catering services, and a diverse representation of other consulting services (see page 11). We welcome and strongly encourage businesses to set up and exhibit their services for promotion and visibility. If no one knows you exist, how can they do business with you. We reserve the right to deny any business owner who seeks an opportunity to promote their services at an ESBS event with a business which is incompliant with our objectives and set standards. We vet all inquiries carefully to maintain a high standard with the overall event and to meet the expectations of our attendees.

KEYNOTE SPEAKERS

Our keynote speakers are valuable contributors to our overall roster of speakers and deliver impactful messages to our audiences at two different times of the day, in the morning and during lunch. We ask our keynote speakers to deliver messages of triumph, failure, personal struggle, overcoming strenuous odds, dealing with success, scaling, managing risk, and sharing personal messages which will leave a positive impact on the audience of entrepreneurs and business owners. Above are three of our cadre of past keynote speakers, Peter Hajjar, CEO of Prime Business Advisors, Dr. Karen D. Loch, President of the World Trade Center of Atlanta, and David Shavzin, CEO of Shavzin and Associates and past President of the Institute of Management Consultants (IMC) of Atlanta. HEALTH FAIR

Living busy lives is what entrepreneurs do daily. Rising before the sun and going to bed past late hours of the evening is common for business owners who are constantly on the grind to manage successful and stressful businesses, especially during the start-up phase. At each ESBS, we feature a health fair with participants who are there to speak to attendees about anything from managing stress, diabetes and high blood pressure, keeping the heart strong, eating healthy, and much more. The objective is to connect attendees with critical information beyond managing successful businesses. We want entrepreneurs to take home information on managing their health as well. Running a successful business requires a healthy mind, soul, and body. Pictures from the previous ESBS events can be viewed by CLICKING HERE.
