Overview of RDASA The Rural Doctors Association of South Australia (RDASA) has regular contact with over 500 rural General Practitioners, with medical specialists and hundreds of GP Registrars and students providing healthcare to the growing South Australian population.

We have a solid history of partnership with the State Minister for Health, Country Health SA, Divisions of General Practice, Rural Doctors Workforce Agency, Adelaide to Outback GP Training, Sturt Fleurieu GP Education and Training, Doctors Health SA, ACCRM and Medicare Locals.

Rural doctors from all regions of South Australia form our Management Committee and are represented on special interest groups, clinical networks, planning task groups and National committees.

RDASA was established in 1991 and has 20 years’ experience in providing medico-political support for rural doctors. RDASA continues to facilitate opportunities for excellence in medical care for rural, regional and remote communities. We do this by advocating for a workforce of highly skilled and motivated medical practitioners who achieve the best health outcomes for their communities.

We lobby actively at the State level and via the Rural Doctors Association of Australia (RDAA), at a National level on a range of issues that affect rural general practice.

RDASA also offers support and high quality education to rural doctors to enable them to maintain their professional networks and advanced emergency medicine, obstetric and anaesthetic skills required for the challenging environment they work in.

Invitation to SponsorRDASA extends an invitation to you and your organisation to partner with us at the RDASA Rural GP Masterclass 2015 ‘Challenging Education for a Challenging Environment’ at the Glenelg Pier Hotel from Friday 31 July – Sunday 2 August 2015. Our Inaugural Education Forum last year was an overwhelming success with positive feedback from attending rural doctors and a request for RDASA to hold another high quality education event in 2015.

The event this year will see up to 60 rural doctors from around South Australia attend the Rural GP Masterclass, all of whom practice emergency medicine with many being procedural for both obstetrics and anaesthetics. The Masterclass is an opportunity for rural doctors to undertake challenging education in a hands-on, practical environment whilst enjoying the support from their colleagues.

Rural doctors will attend 12 hours of education across the weekend, with a Welcome Reception on Friday night at the Glenelg Pier Hotel and a Gala Dinner at Adelaide Oval on Saturday night.

All sponsors will have direct and immediate brand positioning to rural GPs, medical specialists and other health professionals present. The opportunity to maximise your exposure and accessibility to this audience is dependent on the level of support you choose. We have limited exhibition space and therefore recommend securing your position early, due to last year’s exhibitors and sponsors already expressing an interest in being involved.

Rural doctors acknowledge the significant contribution that sponsors and exhibitors make to their ongoing education and value that relationship. Sponsorship booking & payment conditionsThe Australian Goods and Services Tax (GST) at 10% is applicable to all goods and services offered by the Masterclass and all prices in this document are exclusive of GST. GST is calculated at the date of publication of this document.

Sponsorship will be allocated only at the receipt of the signed Sponsorship Booking form. An email confirmation will be provided to confirm booking, together with a tax receipt once payment is received and processed.

All monies due and payable must be received (and cheques cleared) by Australian Medical Placements within 14 days. No company will be listed as a Sponsor in any material until full payment and a booking form have been received by Australian Medical Placements.

Cancellation Policy: In the event of cancellation, a service fee of 50% of the total fees applies for cancellation prior to the 31st May 2015. No refunds will be made for cancellations after this date. After sponsorship has been confirmed and accepted, a reduction in sponsorship is considered a cancellation and will be governed by the above policy.
