COMMUNITY SERVICE TO SABAH 2014 INTERNATIONAL ISLAMIC UNIVERSITY MALAYSIA

The world of education is more than what people expect of. Hence, it is vital for the students

to understand the meaning of education in a wider sense. The best way to educate students is by

letting them to learn, comprehend, understand and experience the reality of life.

Realizing this reality, we as students of the International Islamic University Malaysia have put

a step forward in order to equip ourselves with soft skills and the knowledge to face the world once

we leave this university. In accordance with the mission of IIUM- TRIPLE I‟CE, Islamization,

Integration, Internalization, Comprehensive Excellence, we are proud to organize this program

named as the Community Service to Sabah.

Sabah is well known for its history and cultures. It is full of ethics and different customs.

Though Sabah is still developing, there are still Muslims who are unfortunate and in need of help.

Pursuant to that, the students of the International Islamic University Malaysia have taken up the

challenge to lend their hands to those who are in need.

Mahallah Uthman Representative Committee in collaboration with Mahallah Aminah

Representative Committee both put a full of tilt to hold this program with its theme namely

‘Da’wah without Barrier’. There will be 20 participants from Mahallah Uthman and 20

participants from Mahallah Aminah alongside with 2 officers from each Mahallah taking part in this

programme. Hopefully the experience that will be gained throughout this program would be

beneficial to us as students of IIUM.
