2013 SPONSORSHIP PROPOSAL

Introduction
The Rosemeadow Sport Group is an entity established in the South Western Sydney
suburb of Rosemeadow, in the Campbelltown district, aimed at bringing various
sporting codes and competitions to the region.
The Rosemeadow Sport Group focuses on establishing a number of sporting codes
and competitions aimed at potential sporting participants of all ages from school
children to adults making it cheaper and affordable for all potential participants to
take part in the established sporting groups and competitions.
Working with some of Australia’s leading sport governing bodies the Rosemeadow
Sport Group will introduce and establish their very own sporting clubs and
competitions to encourage the residents of our suburb, and the immediate
surrounding suburbs to be healthier and participate in sport, at an affordable cost.
Studies conducted in 2011-2012 showed that 63.4% of Australians over the age of
18 were considered overweight and/or obese, while 66.9% of Australians over the
age of 18 admitted they had done less than 30 minutes of exercise in the week prior
to being asked to undertake in the survey.
The Rosemeadow Sport Group aims to reduce these numbers by introducing a
number of fast paced, exciting, and fun sporting codes and competitions to our
immediate region.

In order to help us with our aim of successfully establishing sporting codes in the
region, and making them affordable for all participants to take part in we are currently
searching for corporate sponsors to assist us.
While we, the Rosemeadow Sport Group, understand that sponsors are more
conscious of how they distribute their sponsorship funds that they are able to
allocate we believe that we may have the best set up to give you the biggest return
for your sponsorship.
Instead of approaching potential sponsors for each sporting club, code or
competition that we are looking at launching we are approaching corporate sponsors
to back us – the Rosemeadow Sport Group – as a whole covering sponsorship for
each and every competition, code or club that we launch.
We hope that by the time you finish reading this Sponsorship Proposal that you
would agree with us, and agree that our vision is one that is worth fighting for and
providing sponsorship funds towards.

Competitions
In association with the Australian Baseball Federation, Australian Baseball League
and Macarthur Baseball League the Rosemeadow Sport Group will be launching our
own Aussie T-Ball competition.
Aussie T-Ball is an initiative established by the Australian Baseball Federation aimed
at 5-8 year olds to introduce the children to the game of Baseball and to encourage
participation.
The Rosemeadow Sport Group plan to take this to another level by extending the
age group from 5-12 year olds split into two separate competitions (Under 8’s and
Over 8’s).
Aussie T-Ball is a six-aside game that lasts for six innings, or one hour which ever
comes first, and is based on rotation meaning each child has a turn to hit at different
positions in the batting line up, while also taking turns at different positions on the
field.

The Rosemeadow Sport Groups’ Aussie T-Ball competition will be cheaper than the
recommended $60-$80 per child, with the price set at $40 per child for a ten week
competition, equating to $4 per child per week.
At the time of registration the child will receive a Participation Pack, which includes a
catching mitt, a ball, a drink bottle, an Aussie T-Ball cap and their team shirt for the
competition.
At each game day every participating child will receive a free chilled bottle of water,
and piece of fruit in a bid to encourage healthy eating and drinking.
And to encourage further participation each child at the end of the ten week season
will receive a Participation Medallion, and a Certificate of Participation, along with a
range of other small gifts.

Touch Rugby League is a competition formed in 2005 which is taking Australia’s
East Coast by storm. After starting with just 24 teams the competition has now
ballooned to five locations in South East Queensland and now features over 360
teams.
The Rosemeadow Sport Group have been able to secure the five-year franchise
license to launch this competition in the Campbelltown region.
There will be three competitions launched, a men’s competition (6 a-side), a mixed
competition (7 a-side) and a junior competition (7 a-side).
Touch Rugby League – Campbelltown will feature ten week competitions
encouraging participants of all ages to take part in this new fast paced sport which is
similar to Touch Football and Oz Tag however allows players to kick the ball, and
costs just a fraction of the cost to take part in.

Rosemeadow Kings Cricket Club
One of the biggest draw cards of the Rosemeadow Sport Group is the establishment
of the Rosemeadow Kings Cricket Club, an entity currently awaiting approval from
the Camden District Cricket Association for inclusion into their 2013/2014 Cricket
Season.
The Rosemeadow Kings Cricket Club has been set up and established to not bring a
professional sporting club to the Rosemeadow region, but to be one of the cheapest
cricket clubs in the boundaries of the Camden District Cricket Association.
Our set up not only see’s cheaper registration and insurance costs, but at the same
time provides all the required equipment to all participants meaning after registration
there is no additional costs.
Each player who registers receives a club playing shirt, training shirt, cap and a gift
voucher to the Greg Chappell Cricket Centre for their cricket pants.
Each team in our club will then receive a Cricket Kit which will include three pairs of
cricket pads, three pairs of cricket gloves, three cricket bats and protective gear
which means the only additional outlay for any player is if they wish to buy their own
gear.

In order to allow us to bring our dreams into reality we need your assistance, your
support.
Therefore instead of breaking Sponsorship up into little sections, where you need to
spend more money to get an additional perk we have combined it all into one in the
hope that you see we are about playing sport, and making it affordable for potential
players to take up a different sporting code than focused on our bank balance.
We are seeking Corporate Sponsors to come on board, get the above perks, plus
whatever else we can come up with for the small fee of $5000 per annum.
By coming on board with your $5000 you will become a sponsor of the Rosemeadow
Sport Group, which means you will be displayed at our home cricket games, our
Aussie T-Ball games, our Touch Rugby League games and any other competitions,
teams or clubs that we launch during the year you will receive advertising there at no
further costs.
If you are interested in backing us with our vision please feel free to contact our
President Brendon Meynell on 0410 244 929 or via president@club-
