It is my pleasure to welcome you in sponsoring the Little Lighthouse Foundation’s (“LLF”) 9th annual Hearts & Stars Gala (“HS2018”). Hearts & Stars 2018: The Temple of Ra, will take place in Miami, Fl. The Hearts & Stars Gala will once again be produced by the Emmy Award Winning team at LiveIT Productions.

The Hearts & Stars Weekend is comprised of three events: Hearts and Stars Opening Party, a VIP Donor Reception, and the Hearts & Stars Gala. Each event caters to a defined audience and provides ample opportunity for LLF to provide its guests with memorable experiences, while raising important funds for our programs.

At its core, LLF strives to provide volunteer opportunities to South Floridians looking to give back. LLF now has over 500+ annual volunteer programs and LLF volunteers totaled over 7,000 donated hours supporting LLF programs and initiatives.

Why Sponsor? The Hearts & Stars Gala (“H&S”) grew to a three event format after significant demand from sponsors and guests warranted the expansion in 2016. Sponsorship packages are developed on a case by case basis, after an initial discussion allows our team to identify key performance metrics to which activations (on and off site) can be developed. We highly encourage you to schedule an initial phone call regarding possible sponsorship so that you can receive a complimentary tailored sponsorship plan.

Who Benefits? Funds raised from the Hearts & Stars Gala 2018 will be utilized by The Little Lighthouse Foundation to facilitate continuous volunteer programs, annual grant writing, and special measures including the Learn & Earn program. VOLUNTEER OF THE YEAR

PAST HEARTS & STARS HONOREES

The 2017 Shining Light Award Recipient was Justin Keener. In 2015, Justin Keener generously created the Keener Matching Fund, which has not only helped raise much needed funds for LLF, but it has brought forward new donors and increased the support of existing donors. The matching grant program has been incredibly successful and more importantly instrumental to the continued impact LLF is able to achieve in the community. Keener continues to go above and beyond in your support of LLF, including generously making LLF the beneficiary of his San Diego Halloween parties, working as an Advisory Board member, and generally being a pillar in the community.

Loren Psaltis was presented with the award in 2017 for her commitment to the children at Chapman Partnership for the homeless. During her time as a volunteer with LLF, Loren led up to 4 weekly programs at a time at Chapman and created relationships with the youth at the shelter. Loren is an upstanding member of the community and relentlessly donates her time to better the circumstances of those less fortunate.

The Shining Light award is reserved for a member of the community who most embodies the spirit of philanthropy, while acting out the mission of LLF.

The Volunteer of the Year award is reserved for the LLF volunteer who selflessly donates their time to better those less fortunate, while being an upstanding citizen in our community.
