The Trade Intelligence Independent Trade Forum (ITF) has become a pivotal event on the South African

technical drawings will be developed and signed off by Sandton Convention Centre to ensure compliance.

Ti is expecting 300 delegates at ITF 2018 at the Sandton Convention Centre. This
venue was selected for its central location, close proximity to the Gautrain and ability to be
transformed into a trade experience
The venue has allocated the below detailed areas for the event, with the opportunity for
additional display space dependent on sponsor requirements and appetite for further
investment:

• Foyer and Exhibition Area : Boardrooms 1, 2 and 3
The wholesale and informal independent retail trading environment in South Africa is
vibrant, rich, dynamic, and in many respects, still largely misunderstood by manufacturers.
The intention of ITF 2018 is to recreate this richness and vibrance through providing a
visual representation of the unique wholesale cash & carry, retail hybrid and informal
independent retailer experience.
The event décor will be designed and executed in collaboration with the venue team and

6. What are the different Sponsorship & Exhibitor opportunities?
The Marketplace is located in Boardrooms 1, 2 and 3 with easy access to the Plenary Hall where the event sessions will take place will be used by delegates as a meeting and networking place during tea breaks and lunch. How sponsors and exhibitors invest in their stands is their decision but must tie into and enhance the experience of the independent trade created by the Ti and the venue sponsor who will ensure the marketplace décor will compliment the overall décor of the event. Additional display area is available in Boardrooms 6 and 7 pending market need.

Exhibition Opportunities
NOTE: Associated venue insurance costs depending on the type of product give-away will be charge for by
the venue. Food product give-away must be approved by the venue prior to the day and Sandton Convention Centre rules on sampling and giveaways must be adhered to at all times.

costs are excluded from the above fee. Exhibitor stands should align to, and enhance, the independent trade experience
created by Trade Intelligence and the venue sponsor. Trade Intelligence offers an exhibition stand option which can viewed
within this document and discussed with the Trade Intelligence event coordinator. All exhibition stand designs must be signed
off by Trade Intelligence and final exhibition stand build plans must be submitted to Sandton Convention Centre for approval .
The above exhibition area limitations include the Sandton Convention Centre exhibition rules and must be adhered to at all
