MOOC stands for a Massive Open Online Course● It is an online course aimed at world-scale

participation ● It is an open and free access via the internet● There is a start date and an end date● You have instructors● There is a learning community

They are similar to university courses, but● You cannot aim for a university credit● You do not go to the university, you stay in front of your

computer.
