paid extra at the time of inspection to Quality Assurance Officer which will be billed by the unit along with bill of the material and will be reimbursed by the paying authority of DDO.

21. SECURITY DEPOSIT : As per General conditions of contract , CSIDC Form No. 1, Clause

7,the Purchaser/DDOs may require the contractor to furnish a security deposit which shall be made after issue of the acceptance of the supply order within the period specified by the purchaser / DDOs. Such security deposit shall not ordinarily exceed 3% . The security shall be in form of Demand Drafts issued by any of the Scheduled Commercial Banks. No other form of security is to be accepted. The security deposit amount is to be refunded after successful completion of the supply.

22. SPECIAL NOTE : 1. Purchasing Departments/end user will ensure to sending the

copy of every Purchase order to this office. 2. Purchasing Departments/end user will ensure to Pre Dispatch inspection of stores through Inspection agency enlisted in the CSIDC Panel. 3. As such registration with NSIC will be acceptable only if such registration has been granted on the basis of capacity report from DGS&D QA Wing. 2. Tenderers to give complete technical data as per Questionnaire attached for each item offered against the T/E failing which the offer will be liable to be ignored without any further reference. 3. Tenderers to be eligible to quote against this T/E should possess required star rating certificate from BEE for the quoted models stipulated the type of compressor & refrigant used in the split air conditioner. 4. The tenderers shall have to get themselves registered as per T/E specification. 5. The tenderers shall have complete testing facilities for testing cooling capacity & noise level as per the requirement of ISS. NOTES TO THE PURCHASER:- 1. SERVICING- Free servicing shall be provided for 15 months from the date of dispatch or 12 months from the date of installation of air conditioner whichever is earlier. Firm is also required to send service engineer at least 3 times during the warranty period. 2.Warrantee: Warrantee shall be provided for 15 months from the date of dispatch or 12 months from the date of installation of air conditioner, whichever is earlier. Additional warrantee for compressor for 4 years shall be provided.

General Technical requirement For TE : 1. Air conditioners suitable for 230V + - 10%, 50 Hz single phase AC supply shall be capable of

performing the functions as cooling, dehumidifying, air circulating and filtering. The Air conditioners may either be provided with adjustable step less type mechanical thermostat or electronic thermostat as per IS: 11338:1985.

2. Outdoor unit of the air conditioners shall be fitted discharge cooled type rotary/sroll type compressor operating on Refrigerant with suitably rated electric motor. It shall be equipped with overload protection and shall be mounted on resilient mountings for quiet operation. The compressor shall be supplied with manufacturers test certificate and their own lab's conducted Type Test Report to JIS S (Japanese Industrial Standards) or ASHRAE (American Society of Heating, Refrigeration and Air- Conditioning Engineers).

3. Remote cordless control with LCD/LED Display shall be provided with one On/Off timer, selecting

fan speed (three speed) and setting up of temperature. Display shall be provided on indoor unit or on handset or on both.

4. Air conditioners shall be provided with standard 5 mtrs refrigerant Cu pipe, electrical wire and

drainage pipe. 5. TTC for two samples of each type/model of Air conditioners from any NABL/ILAC

Accredited lab./Central Government lab. shall be submitted by the firm at the time of registration and inspection.

7. Installation: The installation charges shall include the following work:- i) Mounting/Fitting indoor and outdoor units at the respective locations. ii) Laying refrigerant piping of required length and connecting both the units after drilling hole/holes in the wall, if required. iii) Leak testing of the entire system. iv) Charging Refrigerant gas in the unit. v) Suitable electric wiring between indoors and outdoors units of required length up to switch at location of indoor unit. Switches/ Sockets /Plugs are not included in the scope of supply.

8. Inspection: - Pre-dispatch inspection of stores against the R/C shall be reported as per Inspection Report Performa No.MECH-238 (Rev.III) (Attached).
