Her most recent critically-acclaimed book is “In Their Own Words: Slave Life and the Power of Spirituals.” She was recently interviewed on the PBS documentary “Backs Against the Wall: The Howard Thurman Story.” THE ART OF PROPHETIC WRITING & PREACHING C. ANTHONY HUNT: Rev. Dr. C. Anthony Hunt is an ordained Elder in The United Methodist Church, and currently serves as the senior pastor of Epworth Chapel UMC in Baltimore. He is a professor of systematic theology at St. Mary’s Seminary and the University in Baltimore, and also teaches at Wesley Theological Seminary in Washington, D.C. and United Theological Seminary in Dayton, Ohio. SPEAKING POETIC TRUTH TO POWER KEZIA SNIPES: Kezia Snipes has been blessed to effectively convey inspiration, motivation and healing to many people for the last 13 years. She's released three spoken word albums, facilitated numerous writing workshops and camps for writers of all ages, and co-led a young adult spoken word group. She’s also currently hosting Third Mondays at Busboys & Poets in Northeast D.C. THE ART OF TRANSFORMATIONAL EVANGELISM RODNEY HUDSON: The Rev. Rodney Hudson has been pastor of Ames UMC in Baltimore for 11 years. His church is in the Sandtown-Winchester neighborhood of Baltimore where drug overdoses and shootings unfold almost every day. Hudson has moved into the neighborhood to build community and relationship with all Baltimoreans.
