2 Day Psychic Development Workshop with Lynn

This class is designed for people whom are new to their

Day 1 Saturday, June 9th from 1:30 pm to 7:00 pm

Learn how to protect yourself.

When working with the spiritual world protecting yourself is very important. If you are doing psychic work without protection there

is a chance you can connect with negative spirits. You will also find yourself getting tried, angry, ill or taking on your client’s prob-

lems.

Learn to receive messages with your guides, angels, and ascended masters. During this session you will have a better

understanding of how connect with your guides. Lynn has developed four simple techniques that can be practiced to help receive

messages. Next, you will walk through a meditation with Lynn to connect with your guides.

What are your gifts? What kind of gifts do you have? Are you clairvoyant, clairsentience, or a medium? Learn about the

different abilities and how you can use them to heighten your gifts. Walk through a meditation with Lynn to discover your gifts.

Psychic development In this part of the session you will be given a series of exercises to gain new insight and connect yourself

to a higher level using your abilities. We will learn to read auras, feel energy and pair up to practice on other students. You will

do automatic writing, remote viewing, telepathy, visionary work, and ESP.

Psychometry is something you may have seen used on television by psychics to help solve cases and find missing people. Psy-

chometry is the ability to tune into the physical and emotional history of an object by touching it. Bring an object with you but

only show it to the instructor or front desk.

Psychic Attunement The attunement increases your awareness and channels your gifts. In addition you get energy work and a

Learn how to read oracle cards: Oracle cards are good for beginners or people whom study mediumship. Learn about the

different types and how to use them to connect with your intuition. Learn to cleanse the cards, connect with them and the

different ways you can use oracle cards. Do you have a deck of oracle cards you cannot relate to? Bring the deck in and

swap with another student.

Psychic Divination tools. Learn how to use different tools help with psychic work including pendulums, Runes, and

Crystals.

Psychic Family Feud: You will be playing the game with a group that is assigned to you. Each member of the winning team

will receive a prize.

My name is Lynn owner of Spiritual Uplifts. I’ve been reading tarot cards for

over 30 years professionally. I work through the cards using clairvoyance, soul

reading and mediumship. I am also a Reiki Master, Coach, and Minister. My

earliest memory of seeing spirit was when I was 4 years old. I have been

studying Metaphysics since 1990. For most of my life I lived in a small state called Rhode Island. Rhode

Island is 45 minutes from Salem, Massachusetts. I made many trips back and forth to Salem discovering

the true histories and the wonderful growth of spiritualism. Most of my work was taught through the White

Light Book Store in Cranston, Rhode Island. As I learned more about my spiritual gifts, I discovered they

started to from when I was a child. I believe everyone is Psychic, some more sensitive than others. My

contact with spirit has helped clients through the healing process associated with the loss of decease

loved ones, divorce, new ventures and finding oneself. I am dedicated to helping others identify and elimi-

Message from Lynn

Psychic

The word “psychic” as an adjective means attune-

ment of mind and body with subtle vibrations. As a

noun it applies to a person who is a sensitive; sus-

ceptible to spiritual influences. Everyone is born with

psychic abilities. Most people that are exceedingly

sensitive have natural psychic abilities. Whether

your gifts come natural or hidden, you can imple-

ment exercises like mediations, psychic develop-

ment, and psychometry that can help you develop3

stronger gifts. As with most things practice makes

perfect.

Perception is very important. How you look at people

as a whole is what will make you a good reader.

Everyone has a story. I disbelief people are born

wicked. What I have learned from speaking with

spirit is that everyone has a choice.

A Psychic is able to tune into another person to

where they are able to read their thoughts or get in-

formation directly from the person. However, some-

times the psychic will pick up information from the

future. Predictions can vary because most the infor-

mation they receive can reflect on multiple situations

happening at once. Most of the time the client under-

stands what the psychic is referring to before the

psychic understands it. Psychics also receive infor-

mation from their guides.

If a Psychic is a visionary (a psychic who receives

most of his or her information in form of pictures)

usually the information is more precise than if their

ability is to hear or feel things. It is easier for a spirit

to send pictures because it’s less energy, as op-

posed to trying to communicate through speaking.

Another way for Psychics to receive messages is to

pick up energy from different objects, such as pic-

tures, jewelry, and divination tools. For instance, dur-

ing a reading a psychic may ask the client to give

them the ring they are wearing so they can feel the

client’s vibration. Just like the human body the ring

pick’s up imprints that could be from a significant

event. The event can be joyful or heartbreaking. It’s

like residue left behind because something may be

unsettled or needs to be remembered.

Divination tools can also give a psychic confirmation

on what they are getting for them client. When I do a

psychic reading I like to use tarot cards. The cards

confirm what my guide is telling me.

As a teacher I love helping others discover what their

gifts are. I do not teach through a book. I teach peo-

ple to receive the information by my experience.

When I am directing a class on psychic development

or mediumship I can usually identify what is the per-

son’s strongest attributes. Later I show them how to

apply it to their reading.

Spiritual Uplifts Numerology with Kim This month we will experience the nurturing energy of the number 6, as this number is associated with

home, health and loving relationships.

If we stop and think about it, since June comes immediately after the end of the school year, this is the time

that families are planning vacations or activities in an effort to spend more time together. This is the uni-

verse’s way of reconnecting us after a period of time of constant motion. Take advantage of this opportu-

nity by reconnecting with the ones important to you- Take in a movie, spend the day at the beach, whatever

it is that you enjoy doing together.

The number 6 is also associated with community service, which is interesting because June is when sum-

mer vacation starts for students and their new-found freedom affords them the opportunity to volunteer.

Don’t be surprised to find yourself with a sense of wanting to help others this month, whether it is volunteer-

ing at a summer camp, or helping a friend through a hard time.

Herbs here can be grown year round if you are growing them in the right part of the year. Passionflower

loves the tropical heat of our Florida summer. It grows in Zones 9-11, making our area the northern most

zone that it grows. The plant needs almost no care or watering and will grow vigorously until the first frost

kills it. It grows anywhere you plant it and needs no fertilizing. As a vine its perfect for climbing trellises

or covering up fences. It comes back every spring, but rarely in the same place you planted it. It can be

found in nurseries and herb farms locally and can be purple, blue or red flowers.

The entire plant is edible from the elaborate flower to the leaves and fruit. Passionflower is a great herb if

you have anxiety issues or are just going through a tough time and need help relaxing. It starts relaxing

you in less than 20 minutes usually and the effects last anywhere from 4-6 hours. As a sleep aid it can be

helpful in helping someone fall asleep, but not to stay asleep.

Cooking with it is a great way to relax the whole family over dinner, the leaves have no real taste which means it’s easy to use. The only real side effect is that it can cause drowsiness, so make sure you try it out and see how you feel. Use the flower as a tea and enjoy the effects of this lovely plant.

Litha is traditionally a time for celebrating the

fairy-folk. One could go looking for fairies in the

woods during Midsummer solstice, especially on

Midsummers Eve. (Shakespeare’s – A Midsummer

Night’s Dream takes place on this day and is a

comical example of what could happen.) It’s also a

time when the Holy King takes over from the Sun

King and begins his rule once again over the wan-

ing year.

Litha celebrates the life giving gift of the sun. In

the inner landscape of things, this is a perfect time

to take stock of where we are at in our lives. Picture

yourself attained at the top of a hill after a long ef-

fort, viewing the journey thus far.

The Summer Solstice celebrates the Zenith of the

Sun’s strength or, in mythic terms, the “Attainment

of Adulthood” for the Divine child. With the work of

getting the future harvest in the ground done and

the work of reaping still ahead, the summer season

a good idea to work a little magic for their benefit,

both to protect and to bring healing. A simple way to

lend them energy, both magically and physically, is to

charm a plant so that the bees will have a place to

gather pollen and absorb the energy. Good plants to

use include sage, thyme, rosemary or lavender.

To charm the plant, hold it and visualize emerald-

green energy for nature and healing streaming from

your hands into the plant. To direct the energy to-

ward the benefit of the bees, seal your intent with
