SPIRAL WOUND GASKETS The Spiral Wound Gaskets are made-up for a sealing element which combines a metallic strip and a softer strip material (FM, PTFE, Graphite, Mica, etc.), wrapping both strips in concentrically spirals with continuous tension. The Spiral Wound Gaskets are reinforced in its inner and external diammeter with many metal spirals electrically welded. The Spiral Wound Gaskets can have an inner ring, centered and both. The main feature of our Spiral Wound Gaskets, due to the elastic action on the made-up of the metal strip, is that offers a perfect sealing in fluctuating conditions of pressure and temperature. Reacting to temperature increases to considerable values maintaining its position perfectly thanks to its elastic recovery. Our manufacturing of Spiral Wound Gaskets is based on the norm ASME B16.20, in different materials like AISI 304, 316L, 321, 347, INCOLOY 800, INCONEL 600, MONEL 400, etc. We also manufacture for exchangers and according to specific specs of the client.
