Supervisor’s Role at the beginning

• Supervisor to login in Speed Net software – Perform the Day begin – Allocate the job among SAs / MTS.

• He would assign the work – Among SAs for mail agency / bag receipt desk,

bag opening desk, sorting, bag closing desk and bag despatch desk.

– among MTS officials also.

Modification of Bag Details

• After opening of SPTB / Bag, − If any bags’ source office and destination office

require to be changed, it can be done. − But bag number can not be changed.

Shift / Daily Report of Supervisor – Manual Preparation

Responsibilities

• Entire set / shift (SAs & MTS Officials) would be collectively responsible for any unexplained variation in the abstract

• It would be collective responsibility of the entire set / shift for the safety of speed post articles

• Each official is responsible for safety, security and cleanliness of the hardware & equipments used by them.

• In case of any technical issues, seek the help of System Administrator

• Run the Speednet communication at regular intervals
